It is conveniently situated next to the Iwool Health Center, making it an ideal spot for residents to relax after administrative tasks or health programs.

Operating Hours: Weekdays, 10 AM to 5 PM
Closed: Weekends and Holidays

The Iwool Sharing Book Cafe opened in November 2023 and is operated by the local residents' committee. The profits generated are used to benefit the local community.
Upon entering the cafe, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and tidy environment. A large bookshelf filled with various books awaited. Being inside the community center, it serves as a relaxation and communication space for residents!
The cafe offers coffee, warm tea, refreshing aid drinks, and juices. Prices are quite reasonable: Americano for 2,000 KRW, Cappuccino for 3,000 KRW, Chamomile and Yuzu tea for 2,500 KRW, and refreshing Lemonade and Green Grape Aid for 3,000 KRW. The affordability makes it even more attractive!
**Basic Food Security Project: Just Dream**
At the entrance of the Iwool Community Center, a noticeable notice caught my attention. The cool name 'Just Dream' piqued my curiosity. This initiative provides basic food security for those facing financial difficulties. It is said that 'Just Dream corners' operate at community centers nationwide!
The 'Just Dream Corner' in Iwool is located inside the Iwool Sharing Book Cafe and is referred to as the 'Hwapoong Iwool Sharing Refrigerator.' In partnership with the Jincheon County Basic Food Bank, new food supplies are replenished every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Anyone can voluntarily donate food, not just businesses or organizations.
Users of the Just Dream Corner must fill out a 'Receipt Log' and can take one food item per person. On the Thursday I visited, the refrigerator had limited supplies. Some elderly residents reportedly visit daily to collect multiple items. If items are taken haphazardly just because they are free, those in genuine need may miss out. Remember to take only one item per person for those who truly need it!
I hope that those unaware of such initiatives do not miss out on the benefits. I encourage anyone facing difficulties or needing grocery support to take advantage of the 'Just Dream' project without hesitation. If you find yourself in Iwool, be sure to stop by the Iwool Sharing Book Cafe on the first floor of the community center. It's a great place to enjoy a coffee or a refreshing drink at an affordable price and take a moment to relax!
