One of the courses in the Odii app is the Jongno Modern Road,
which features a total of 10 courses.
Starting from Cheonggyecheon Ogan Bridge Site to Gwanghwamun Square,
the History Trail course takes about an hour to walk,
allowing you to hear fascinating stories about Jongno's history.
As you walk along Cheonggyecheon,
you will encounter the Jeon Tae-il Bridge and Gwangjang Market.
On the bridge, there is a statue of Jeon Tae-il,
and over 3,000 memorial plaques are embedded in the ground.
The bridge was renamed in 2010 to honor Jeon Tae-il,
who self-immolated nearby on November 13, 1970.
Continuing along, you will find Sewoon Shopping Center,
a symbol of Seoul's modernization in the 1960s.
Recently, it has become a popular spot for younger generations,
as the city continues to evolve.
As you stroll, you will see the wooden Suyun Bridge,
which was named for measuring the water level of Cheonggyecheon.
Five minutes from Suyun Bridge,
you will reach the Samil Building,
designed by architect Kim Joong-up and recognized as a future heritage site.
Finally, at Gwanghwamun Square,
you will be greeted by the statues of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
Take a moment to rest on the benches scattered throughout the square
and reflect on the stories you have heard.
