2026 Jinju Strawberry Festival: A Sweet Spring Experience
I fully experienced the sweetness of spring!
Here’s my review of the 2026 Jinju Strawberry Festival (@jinjustrawberry)!
The festival took place over three days, from April 10 (Friday) to April 12 (Sunday), at Sugok-myeon (Jinseo Middle and High School)!
Jinju is a paradise for strawberries, filled with freshness!
Every year, over 3,000 tons are exported, accounting for 75% of the domestic strawberry export value.
Sugok-myeon is the top exporter in the country, sending premium strawberries worldwide.
And the best part? Tasting Jinju strawberries right on site!
They are so sweet and juicy that one bite makes you understand why Jinju strawberries are the K-strawberries!
✔️ The most popular program is the strawberry picking experience.
It operates at different times (10:00 / 11:00 / 13:00 / 14:00 / 15:00 / 16:00), so if you time it right, you can enjoy the fun of picking strawberries!
✔️ The atmosphere at the festival is vibrant.
From strawberry photo zones to food booths and experience zones, the whole place felt lively and festive.
Many families with children attended, and there were plenty of activities for couples and friends to enjoy as well.
✔️ The stage events were diverse.
Especially the 'Strawberry King Contest' received great responses and created an amazing atmosphere.
With interactive programs like O/X quizzes and mini-games, there was never a dull moment.
I enjoyed a variety of strawberry desserts and drinks, making it a festival where you can indulge in food, experiences, and sights!
