A Memorable Solo Trip to Busan

Returning home is always bittersweet, but this time I feel satisfied after a fulfilling trip.
I spent one night at Hotel 1 Capsule Luxury Ocean in Gwangalli, a women-only capsule hotel.
This was a self-funded accommodation.
You can find detailed descriptions of the hotel in my previous post.
This is a review of my stay after spending Friday night there.
After returning to my room, I took a shower, roughly dried my hair, and enjoyed the night view while feeling a bit tipsy.
I lay down and rolled around. It was past midnight, but I couldn't fall asleep right away.
One downside of the capsule hotel was that I could hear movements from the second floor and adjacent capsules quite clearly.
Since the door doesn't lock completely, I found myself inadvertently glancing at the curtain when footsteps approached.
Aside from that, it was a great place to stay.
I wondered if rooms with more distance and locking mechanisms would cost more.
It’s important to weigh various factors when choosing accommodations.
Despite my worries, once I fell asleep, I slept soundly without dreaming.
At 6:30 AM, I woke up to the morning in Gwangalli!
I had set my alarm for 9 AM but woke up at 6:30 instead.
I intentionally left the curtains open to wake up naturally with the sunlight.
As it got brighter, I opened my eyes to a sky still cloudy from the previous day's rain.
I hoped it wouldn’t rain today as I headed to wash up.
After a leisurely wash, I got ready, and by 7:30 AM, I was all set.
Since I had to check out by 11 AM, I began to organize my belongings.
While lounging and playing games, I received a message.
I was invited to come down to the first floor to pick up a good morning kit!
I had something to do now.
Thinking it might take time to eat, I stored my luggage in a personal locker and headed to the front desk.
At 8 AM, the sun was rising over Gwangalli.
When I showed the staff my message, they handed me a good morning kit.
I was pleasantly surprised by how cute and well-prepared it was.
I hadn’t seen anything about breakfast in the reviews, so it felt like a surprise gift.
Rice noodles, milk, and cornflakes were simple yet satisfying.
You can enjoy your meal freely in the café on the first floor.
I sat by the window with a view of Gwangalli Beach and enjoyed my breakfast.
From 8 AM, many people were jogging along the beach, likely due to the nice weather.
I just realized that the café has tiered seating, and each spot has a power outlet.
Hotel 1 really is top-notch!
The large windows allowed me to relax on the sunbeds in front of me.
I ate what I received first and then lay down to rest.
As the sun rose higher, I felt compelled to close my eyes. I recommend bringing sunglasses if you plan to relax.
I’ll probably include this in another post, but after breakfast and a bit of rest, I went to a nearby convenience store for a delivery.
Since I couldn’t go to the sandy beach the day before due to rain, I approached the waves as the morning was pleasantly damp.
Here’s the hotel I stayed at, Hotel 1, as seen from the sea.
I’ll come back again!
The ocean is always a joy to behold.
This is the café on the first floor of Hotel 1 where I relaxed in the morning.
I made sure to enjoy every moment before checking out.
It was a leisurely and fulfilling time.
