During our summer vacation in Busan, we stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Busan Songdo Beach and enjoyed breakfast at Songdo Kitchen located on the 22nd floor.
Having breakfast on such a high floor was incredible, and the ocean view was breathtaking.
We chose a room that included breakfast, so we received a breakfast coupon with our room number at check-in.
Breakfast is served generously from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy a leisurely meal.
Taking the elevator to the 22nd floor, we were greeted by large windows and an open ocean view.
The peaceful atmosphere of the breakfast area, bathed in morning sunlight, and the gentle waves of Songdo Beach made for a relaxing experience.
The seating arrangement featured mostly two-person tables, with a few slightly private four-person tables available.
All window-side seats had blinds, which we opted not to use as we wanted to enjoy the view while eating.
The breakfast menu included a salad zone with fresh vegetables and dressings, yogurt options, various breads like croissants and baguettes, and a selection of beverages.
I particularly enjoyed the croissant, warmed up in the machine next to the bread station.
The breakfast also featured a detox juice that was surprisingly sweet and delicious.
There were options like pumpkin soup, fried rice, and various sides including crispy fries that were surprisingly good.
The egg station offered boiled eggs, fried eggs, and scrambled eggs, with a self-service coffee machine available for lattes.
Overall, while the variety of breakfast items wasn't vast, there was enough to satisfy everyone.
The ocean view made the experience even more enjoyable, especially on a hot day when going outside felt tedious.
It was wonderful to relax in the room after breakfast.
