The 61st Seorak Cultural Festival, a representative cultural event that unites the rich traditions of Sokcho with the passion of its citizens, will take place this autumn throughout Sokcho.

From events in the Seorak region, set against the majestic autumn scenery of Seoraksan, to vibrant street parades and diverse performances and experiences, we invite everyone, young and old, to join in this celebration of unity.

📅 Festival Schedule and Locations

• Main Event: October 2 (Fri) - October 4 (Sun), 2026 / Expo Grass Square and Seorak Rodeo Street, Sokcho

• Pre-Event (Seorak Region Activities): September 20 (Sun), 2026 / Seoraksan and Seorak-dong Small Park

✨ Key Program Highlights

• Street Parade: A march and performance featuring artistic teams from across the country alongside Sokcho citizens on Seorak Rodeo Street.

• Official Events & Celebration Performances: The opening and closing ceremonies will feature traditional rituals and a dazzling lineup of celebratory artists.

• Seorak Region Activities: Hiking along the Dalma-bong Ridge and a concert in Seoraksan.

• Citizen Participation: Events such as the Seorak Golden Bell, Sokcho Cheerful Sports Day, and Han-gung Tournament.

• Experience Zone: Activity booths and a playground for children.
