Hello, this is Culture City Chilgok!
At 'Culture City Traveler Center Chilgokkeo,' created through the Culture City Project,
we host diverse cultural programs every Wednesday and Saturday from April to November,
where residents can communicate and learn together!
On November 8th, we held our forty-ninth class: a Pepero Cooking Class!
Shall we take a look at the sweet and crunchy scene?

What's a product you often see in convenience stores or dessert shops in November?
That's right, chocolate snacks for Pepero Day on November 11th!
Chilgokkeo also held a Pepero one-day class to celebrate Pepero Day.
The Pepero Cooking Class was led by Hwang Tae-jeong, who runs a baking studio!
Everyone wore disposable gloves for hygiene,
concentrated on the instructor's demonstration, and then made Pepero.
The cookie sticks for the Pepero were pre-baked by the instructor.
Using six cookies per person,
we made our own delicious Pepero.
We dipped the large, long cookies in melted chocolate
to create the shape of the chocolate snack we all know.
Sometimes, the cookies would break if dipped too deeply, requiring the instructor's help.
Before the chocolate hardened, we added sprinkles, cereal, etc.,
decorating the Pepero as beautifully as we wanted.
Since the cookies provided were so large, we could really load up on the toppings.
From friends who popped ingredients into their mouths to taste them,
The completed Pepero were individually wrapped in plastic bags
They were even put in paper bags so they could be given as gifts,
This class was a valuable time to experience the fun of freely showing off your own sense
Like this, 'Culture City Traveler Center Chilgokkeo' hosts new programs every week.
