My Experience at the Gungdi Pangpang Festival

Hello!
I attended the Gungdi Pangpang Festival held from December 5th to 7th!
π Location: Seoul SETEC
π Opening Hours: 10 AM to 6 PM (last day ends at 5:30 PM)
π Parking: Parking is available at SETEC, but it's limited and can be quite congested.
π Public Transport: Take Line 3 to Hakgyeoul Station, Exit 1.
If you parked your car, please use the parking payment machine located in the center of SETEC!
I had quite a bit of trouble with parking; I waited for just under an hour to enter and had to circle around twice to find a spot.
ποΈ Pre-registration for Gungdi Pangpang
I pre-registered for the festival at a cost of 5,000 won per person!
The first round of pre-registration was 5,000 won, and the second round was 8,000 won.
On-site purchases are 10,000 won, so itβs definitely better to book in advance!
Upon entering, I received a ticket and an event lottery ticket. Walking through the venue, I noticed a wider variety of events compared to previous years, and everything felt more organized overall.
There was even a delivery zone, making it convenient for those coming from afar or using public transport.
Especially notable were the Happy Cutting Project for stray cat donations, official Gungdi Pangpang merchandise, and instant prize events, providing both visual appeal and engaging experiences.
Thanks to the various events happening at each booth, the flow of the event was never boring.
The festival showcased a wide range of products, from cat supplies, food, and treats to furniture and art goods.
Inside the venue, there were popular brands that are currently trending among cat owners, as well as unique items from small-scale creators, allowing attendees to see and compare products in person.
π Gungdi Pangpang Shopping List - First Item: Cassava Cat Litter
The product I wanted to focus on the most was cassava cat litter, probiotics, and a dental spray I usually use.
I currently use bentonite litter, but my cat occasionally has accidents on the floor. Many cat owners have reported that switching to cassava litter has reduced such incidents, so I want to give it a try.
Cassava litter is less clumping than bentonite, and since my cat tends to bury his waste deeply, it can break apart easily if it doesnβt clump well.
While exploring different booths, I discovered a brand called 'MeowBox' that offers various types of cassava litter. After testing it, I found its clumping ability to be stronger than the products Iβve used before, so I decided to choose this one.
The scent can be addressed in other ways, so I prioritized clumping ability in my decision. I plan to share my review after using it for a while!
π Gungdi Pangpang Shopping List - Second Item: Probiotics
There are so many brands of probiotics that it was hard to choose... with various forms like powder, pills, and liquids, and prices ranging widely, picking one booth was quite challenging.
Then I came across a pet brand from Nongshim called 'Banryeodaum.' Initially, I wasnβt very interested, but the staff provided explanations, and I decided to listen.
Unlike other brands, Banryeodaum clearly lists ingredient origins on the label, which gave me confidence in my product choice. Compared to other brands, the price was also reasonable, so I opted for Banryeodaum this time!
Especially, I chose a product that is not just regular probiotics but is also stocked in veterinary clinics!
Iβll make sure to feed it diligently and share my thoughts later!
β¨ Summary of Small Items I Picked Up:
Pet wet wipes, disinfectant + deodorizer, cute cat hideaway, food, and treat samples.
I felt great about purchasing needed products at good prices and discovering new brands. The event was richer than before, making the day feel quite fulfilling.
However, I think the parking situation could be improved for my next visit to make it perfect. Still, spending money for my cat is always a joy!
If youβre curious about reviews for other products, feel free to leave a comment!
