Kyu Nyun Kim transforms the broken screens, discoloration, and outdated technology of discarded TVs into new roles and artistic vitality.
Unlike traditional methods where artists create videos first and decide on the screening format, this project allows the TV to propose its own state and issues, with the artist collaborating to complete the artwork.
Viewing TVs as organic beings with souls, similar to the concept of Tsukumogami, the project breathes new life into abandoned TVs, facilitating unfamiliar encounters with audiences through video and art.
