All-in-one preparation for university admissions!
✏️ Review of the Paju University Admission Fair ✏️
With less than three months until the college entrance exam and the early application deadlines approaching, both students and parents are feeling the pressure.
Given the overwhelming amount of information about universities and admission processes, it can be challenging to determine which university to choose and which admission type suits one's needs.
To alleviate these concerns, the city of Paju held a University Admission Fair!
On August 8th, at the Unjeong Happiness Center, I attended the fair and captured the atmosphere.
The event featured a variety of programs to assist with early application preparation, including university-specific consultations and one-on-one admission counseling.
✨ Let's take a closer look!
The fair was held at the Unjeong Happiness Center from 1 PM to 5 PM.
A total of 35 universities from the Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong regions participated in this event!
It was a great opportunity for students to check the admission information of universities they were interested in and ask questions directly to university representatives.
There was also an information desk to help students explore universities, along with brochures for each institution.
Students wanting to compare admission types or major information could easily find the necessary details in the brochures.
Upon entering the first-floor lobby, I was immediately struck by the various special booths designed for students to explore their career paths.
These booths not only provided university information but also offered programs to help students assess their aptitudes and career interests.
From consultations on selecting subjects under the high school credit system to learning style assessments, the fair provided a comprehensive approach to university preparation.
Moving to the multi-purpose hall on the first floor, I found booths from 35 participating universities.
Students could visit booths of universities they were interested in and ask questions about admissions and majors.
Many students and parents were actively engaging with the booths, confirming that the atmosphere was vibrant and filled with enthusiasm.
Unlike searching for information online, the ability to ask questions and receive answers in real-time was a significant advantage of the fair.
In the performance hall, a special lecture on early application strategies for the 2027 academic year took place from 1:30 PM to 3 PM.
The session was led by teacher Jo Won-bae from Jiphyeon High School, who has experience as an admission consultant.
He provided valuable insights on strategies for the upcoming early application process, which would be beneficial for students preparing to apply.
Particularly, the lecture offered practical advice for students contemplating how to select universities and admission types.
This fair, especially beneficial for students preparing for early applications, showcased a variety of programs all in one place.
For students feeling lost about where to find relevant information, this event provided a great opportunity to compare various universities and admission types while directly consulting with experts.
As the early application deadlines approach, it is crucial for students to reflect on their grades and career paths when considering which universities and admission types to apply for.
Ultimately, the fair aimed to help students make informed decisions about their future educational paths.
We hope to see more programs in Paju that support the career and academic aspirations of youth and students.
