A Time to Walk in the Woods and Connect with Nature

Yulgok Arboretum Children's Forest Experience

Located in Paju, Yulgok Arboretum is a wonderful place for everyone to visit!

The weather is perfect for a stroll these days.

Today, I would like to introduce the free forest experience at Yulgok Arboretum, a great spot to take kids in Paju.

The parking lot at Yulgok Arboretum is spacious and well-maintained.

After parking, we head towards the arboretum.

The visitor center is visible!

It’s free to enter, making it a lovely place for everyone to enjoy.

Operating hours are daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As we enter Yulgok Arboretum, we are greeted by mountains, trees, and flowers.

The tranquil scenery here is incredibly healing.

Colorful flowers are everywhere, bringing joy to our hearts!

We pass by the Four Seasons Garden and stroll through the reed forest.

My 6-year-old is excited about going to the children's forest experience.

We walk through the rose tunnel and reach a fork in the path.

If we go left, we will find the children's forest experience!

To the right, there’s a gazebo where we can take a break.

The grass is wide and perfect for resting, and there are restrooms available!

Though it's free, the facilities are well-equipped, which I really appreciate.

On our way to the free forest experience with the kids!

The blue sky, green forest, and fallen leaves make it feel like autumn.

We spot the sign for the children's forest experience; we are almost there!

Arriving at the Yulgok Arboretum Children's Forest Experience!

It’s a well-decorated, cozy place in the woods.

It’s perfect for children to explore and learn.

There are fun activities like climbing ropes and a nature-integrated experience area.

We also find a comfortable hammock to relax in.

There are facilities specifically for children under 5 years old, so adults should refrain from using them.

My child is having a great time using the facilities!

This forest experience area is suitable for preschoolers.

My 6-year-old enjoyed it immensely, finding it both fun and educational.

We carefully cross the log bridge and climb hills while holding onto ropes.

Playing in the sand and climbing stairs while holding onto ropes is also part of the fun!

The weather was pleasantly cool, making it a perfect day to play at the children's forest experience.

My child was so engaged, losing track of time while playing.

On our way down, we encountered a beautiful hibiscus, with informative descriptions nearby.

We passed through stunning reed fields, and the weather was so nice it felt like a painting!

The blue sky and green forest are visually pleasing and lighten the heart.

This is what happiness feels like!

My child, who loves purple, stops to admire the beautiful flowers.

Taking photos of the flowers brings us joy.

As we finish our visit, we stop by the arboretum café for a refreshing break.

The café offers a variety of products, including apple-related items.

After walking around the arboretum and sweating, a cool apple juice was just what we needed!

It was truly refreshing, sweet, and delicious.

In addition to the Yulgok Arboretum Children's Forest Experience, Paju has a total of 9 children's forest experience areas.

There are various programs available, so be sure to check them out!

Today, I introduced the free forest experience at Yulgok Arboretum, a wonderful place to visit with kids in Paju.
