Monthly Main Themes
October: Kitchen
Creating a comfortable home by adding plants to the kitchen,
where families spend a lot of time together.
November: Next to the Bed and On the Desk
Arranging plants in various spots in the room,
such as next to the bed and on the desk,
to create a personal plant space.
December: Veranda
A veranda garden with a camping atmosphere,
where you can relax with plants under warm sunlight.

Introducing the process of creating a veranda garden with a camping vibe.
Can you see rare and endangered plants?
In Project Hall 2 on the second floor of the Plant Culture Center,
there will also be an exhibition of pressed specimens of useful plants.
The specimens are made using plants cultivated in the Seoul Botanical Garden's greenhouses,
and each month, new themes will introduce our native plants
that need protection and attention.
Useful Plant Pressed Specimens Exhibition
October: 18 specimens of 17 endangered species, including the spiny water lily.
November: 16 specimens of 15 rare species designated by the Forest Service.
December: 18 specimens of 15 endemic species designated by the Forest Service.
Each specimen includes the plant name,
main characteristics, photos of the blooming period, and locations
where you can observe the plant within the Seoul Botanical Garden.
