This is the fourth exhibition of the 10th cohort of resident artists at the Gongju Cultural Arts Village,
which will be held from August 25 to September 6, 2026.
Join us for the individual exhibition of artist EG1, titled <HAPPILY EVER AFTER>.

During the 'Meet the Artist' sessions, there will be opportunities for discussion and Q&A with the artist.
No prior registration is required to participate freely.

- Artist's Note -
Through the lens of the ideal of 'perfect love,' which transcends individual desires, this exhibition focuses on the socially repeated and consumed belief in such a notion.
Combining the fantasy narratives of magical girls and romantic tales with traditional Dancheong patterns, the exhibition visualizes these dreams through geometric patterns symbolizing complete unity.
By uncovering the deficiencies and pressures hidden behind glamorous and captivating images, the exhibition explores how 'perfect love,' regarded as the ultimate form of happiness, becomes a belief that keeps us trapped in that fantasy.
