On October 16, 2025, the highly anticipated Tales Runner 20th-anniversary offline event was held successfully at Daegu EXCO.
As a dedicated fan of the game, I couldn't miss this special occasion that Tales Runner prepared for its users to celebrate its 20th birthday!
Upon hearing the news of the event, I took a day off and rushed all the way to Daegu.
Of course, I knew that such a large-scale event would inevitably involve huge crowds and long waiting times, but I couldn't hide my excitement and anticipation.

Meeting Tales Runner at Twenty in Daegu
Let me tell you about my visit to the Tales Runner 20th-anniversary offline event held at Daegu EXCO on October 16, 2025.
I hurried to arrive early in the morning, but the venue was already packed with people.
Personally, I was amazed by the fact that so many people still love and enjoy Tales Runner.
In a vibrant atmosphere that felt like a fairy tale world come to life, it was a moment to relive the history of the game that I've been enjoying for so long.
The event was part of the Daegu Contents Fair, and I was truly impressed by its scale and enthusiasm.
Reliving Memories in the Diverse Play Zones
Upon entering the venue, the play zones that allowed me to experience the various universes of Tales Runner immediately caught my eye.
I had my future read with Aki's tarot fortune and showed off my knowledge of Tales Runner characters at the Tales Quiz Show.
At the Whale Fountain Fishing Spot, I reeled in cute fish panels, and in the Exciting Running Zone, I stepped on the pads and had a special experience of racing like a character in the game.
There were plenty of activities, such as solving quizzes and discovering hidden fun at the Detective Conan Collaboration booth.
I also felt a small sense of accomplishment by collecting stamps at each booth.
Indie Game Village: Another Source of Fun
During the long waiting time at the main Tales Runner booth, I took the time to explore the Indie Game Village.
Initially, it was just to pass the time, but I unexpectedly discovered many really fun games.
It felt like I had found hidden treasures!
I participated in the sticker tour while trying out several games, and the process itself was interesting and refreshing.
The space-themed shooting game was particularly memorable; I was completely immersed in its beautiful UI and thrilling gameplay.
I think the fact that I could enjoy various content other than Tales Runner was another charm of this event.
Dynamic 20th Anniversary K-Championship On-Site
The Tales Runner 20th Anniversary K-Championship was also held at this event.
Watching famous players that I knew compete in a tournament was truly thrilling.
Being able to meet people like 'Minks', whom I had only seen on screen, was also a very special experience.
Watching the players' brilliant control and strategic play with my own eyes made me feel like I was seeing the pinnacle of Tales Runner level.
It was really impressive to cheer and enjoy the game together with many other game lovers.
A Successful 20th Anniversary, Looking Forward
Of course, there were some disappointing aspects, such as the long lines and the early closing of some booths, but I think all of this was due to the passionate interest and love for Tales Runner.
It was enjoyable enough to share memories of the game and create new experiences with the many people I met at the event.
It was really touching to see the runners enjoying the festival, supporting each other with a smile despite the difficulties.
I applaud the game company's efforts to communicate with users through such a grand offline event in this meaningful year of its 20th anniversary.
