Hello, I'm Tteonyuri's mom!

My father has worked in Gwangju for a very long time,

and his commute was always through Namhansanseong Fortress.

So, he always brought home twisted donuts or steamed buns!

He bought them on his way home from this valley cafe in Namhansanseong Fortress

that boasts a delicious taste and long tradition, Sanseong Mammoth.

It really brings back memories.

The name has changed to Sanseong Mammoth!

They also sell old-fashioned shaved ice and cup shaved ice.

They have delicious ice cream too.

It's so popular that there's always a line.

It used to be famous for takeout only,

but now there's seating both inside and outside.

It's been so long since I've been here!

This place opens at 6 AM

and is a popular spot for takeout.

They have many famous Namhansanseong breads, from cream-filled red bean bread to apple pie,

as well as glutinous rice donuts and twisted donuts.

Parking is available in front of the store.

It's located right next to E-Mart as soon as you turn at the Namhansanseong Rotary

and in front of Namhansanseong Elementary School.

There are many great restaurants around here too.

There are also celebrity autographs.

Oh.. Choi Min-soo!!! Amazing!

I've always only gotten takeout,

I didn't know there was space inside.

There's always a wait, so everyone lines up at the waiting line

and gets takeout!

The atmosphere inside is nice,

and the ambiance of the Namhansanseong cafe is great.

There's a valley right in front,

and there are public parking lots and restaurants as soon as you turn at the rotary,

making it a great cafe in Namhansanseong Fortress.

I'm going to eat twisted donuts today.

I'm craving something sweet after a long time.

I took some pictures of the interior.

Sanseong Mammoth is really famous for its Mammoth bread.

It's very thick with lots of cream inside,

and the size is enormous.

This is the owner's baking room!

They also sell ice cream,

so a lot of people buy it.

It looks so delicious.

There's also an outdoor terrace next to the valley,

and there's even air conditioning! It's so hot these days.

We even ordered shaved ice today,

and my mom

even said she was cold...

LOL

Tada!! Doesn't it seem like a real local cafe in Namhansanseong?

They just carelessly give it to you in a plastic bag.

The taste is amazing.

Americano! And old-fashioned shaved ice

Apple pie, corn bread, and the signature twisted donut

instead of Mammoth bread from Sanseong Mammoth Cafe.

The shaved ice was really delicious, but the owner

gave us so much milk

that it melted a little faster.

If they had given us a little less milk, it would have been perfect.

The amount of shaved ice is also enormous.

They put a lot of red beans in it,

and I don't really like rice cakes,

but the rice cakes here are really delicious.

I can't resist an Americano in the summer.

I packed the corn bread full of corn inside!! I ate it in the morning.

It's so delicious.

The apple pie is full of apple jam and apples.

It's really crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Twisted donuts!! I was wondering why there was no sugar

on the twisted donuts and glutinous rice donuts.

It's just sweet.

They're chewy and savory.

They're really delicious.

Glutinous rice donut

I ate two of them even after eating dinner...

There are a lot of snowflake shaved ice these days, but I

like old-fashioned shaved ice with ice.

I'm not that old, though...

The shaved ice at Namhansanseong Cafe was really delicious!! They also have cup shaved ice,

so be sure to try it.

Full of bread

Did I really eat lunch...???

The last is finished with glutinous rice donuts.

Why are glutinous rice donuts so delicious after a long time..??

It must be delicious because it's Sanseong Mammoth!! There's not much oil,

but it's really crispy and savory.

It goes so well with Americano.

Let's go to Namhansanseong Valley Cafe before the end of summer. Next door is Lee Jang-woo's Chicken Stew

There's also a great restaurant.
