End-of-Year Thoughts and First Stops
As 2025 approaches, I find myself writing this diary with a mix of nostalgia and excitement.
I've been delaying my diary entries, but here I am finally writing!
I had always wanted to visit Pav in Hannam, and I finally made a reservation and returned to Hannam-dong after a long time.
This is Hannam Pav, which was incredibly popular at the end of the year, making reservations feel like reaching for the stars!
These days, it seems a bit easier to get a reservation.
The interior is so beautiful that it left me in awe.
The dishes we ordered have arrived. Since it's a wine bar, the menu is all about wine pairings.
Is it really possible for something to look this beautiful?
They serve vegan dishes like chicken steak.
The photos turned out beautifully, and I think it would be a great place to visit for special events.
Wandering Through Familiar Neighborhoods
Nearby, I visited Monoha after a long time.
The light during winter sunset is so beautiful, even though I dislike winter. The indoor lighting is quite lovely.
Today, I'm wearing an outerwear piece from Elborn, which I seem to have shown in various places.
With Dindi and Dasom, we decided to grab some coffee as we felt sad about parting ways.
Today, I visited Yeonhui-dong.
Another outfit featuring Elborn fur! While yesterday was classic, today is a bit more casual.
The weather wasn't as cold as I expected, so it was fine to leave my neck exposed.
The top is from the brand MMM.
Food, Cafes, and Everyday Discoveries
I visited Haidilao for the first time today and ended up making another reservation to go back. You absolutely need a reservation for Haidilao; I can't bear the thought of waiting.
On the day I visited Rich House in Jongno, it popped up on my algorithm.
This is a place where older gentlemen go, and I was surprised to find it wasn't just vintage-themed but a real old-style café.
It's located on the 15th floor.
This teal chair is so pretty!
It was more fun because it felt like a real traditional café rather than just a vintage style.
I also had some kalguksu at Sarangbang.
In Euljiro, I found a café called Cassette that perfectly matched the winter vibe.
Today's fur is from Ayu, which I have highly recommended.
Art, Gatherings, and Reflections
Back in Hannam-dong for another year-end gathering at the Leeum Museum. It's been a long time!
I used to frequently visit exhibitions with my old StyleShare colleagues, and it felt wonderful to go together again after so long.
The exhibition was truly grand and impressive.
I have great respect for artists who create installations.
The volume of work was vast, and I was surprised to learn that the artist was a Korean woman.
Her work was so sophisticated that I wondered if she was my age, but she had been active abroad for much longer.
It seems I had some biases; I reflected on that.
The materials were diverse, and the meanings behind each piece were profound.
I love the Leeum space itself and would like to visit again on a nice day. It was one of the coldest days ever!
Staying Over and Year-End Celebrations
I decided to stay overnight at an Airbnb nearby.
It looks so beautiful, but at night, the cold wind made my face feel frozen...
We completed our Secret Santa gift exchange! I received a lovely tea set!
Everyone works in beauty, so we had a mini cosmetics party.
Feeling sad about parting, we even had brunch together the next day.
Today is another Secret Santa day. Was there ever a year-end this glamorous?
A great place for year-end gatherings is the Original Pancake House.
Hyewon brought a cute ring, and I received a gift from Yoonju. We took a happy group photo!
Today, I finally wore my cute Bambi fur!
The Last Days of December
The last day of December was spent on a real estate tour at a cute beef noodle house called 'Sogongju' in Gunja.
The visuals were top-notch, and the broth was amazing!
I think I’ll be visiting Gunja often; I need to go back for more!
Lastly, I received a gift from the Sunburn Project!
A new brunch café opened near Dongdae, and it was so beautiful that it felt like a healing experience.
Everything was delicious! The coffee was great, and the brunch menu was top-notch.
How can the space be so colorful?
The vibrancy of the space really lifted my spirits.
Closing the Year
Today's daily look features a top from a catalog brand, pants from Breed, and my Ayu Seoul fur outerwear!
I came to Dragon City with my colleagues for a hotel stay.
This place is said to be very trendy, and I received a Kodak Chamera as a Secret Santa gift!
The next day, my friends and I enjoyed some chicken for a hangover remedy.
Not soju, but cider! After dessert, it was goodbye!
With my end-of-year gift from Majone, my diary for December 2025 comes to a close!
Here are some photos from my experiences:
