A Refreshing Dessert to Beat the Heat! 🍧✨

If you're looking for a cool treat that stays delicious till the very last bite, I highly recommend Tarae Queen.

These days, shaved ice desserts (빙수, bingsu) come in so many varieties — from classic red bean to trendy yogurt and fresh fruit toppings.

Out of all the bingsu I’ve tried recently, the most unique by far was from Tarae Queen — a place that’s been gaining popularity lately.

What is “Tarae Bingsu”?

Tarae (타래) means “thread” or “bundle of strands” in Korean — and this dessert gets its name from the way the shaved ice looks like delicate threads of silk.

It’s super light, fluffy, and literally melts in your mouth. I ordered mine from Tarae Queen, which has multiple branches and also offers delivery.

The toppings are super generous, so I recommend adding all the fruit at once, but only half the cereal at first to keep it crunchy.
