Heritage Club: Delicious Coffee in a Tranquil Hanok Setting
대한민국 서울특별시 종로구 서순라길 75

Enjoy delicious coffee in a peaceful Hanok atmosphere at Heritage Club.
I visited Heritage Club, a Hanok cafe on Seosulla-gil, because I wanted a cup of delicious coffee. It's a popular cafe that usually has a wait, so I asked if they allowed solo customers, and luckily, they did. I quickly enjoyed a cup of coffee and relaxed in the traditional Hanok ambiance for a while. The interior, with its courtyard-like space, was even more charming bathed in sunlight.
Seosulla-gil is located past the Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, and it was quite crowded with people taking pictures along the stone wall of Jongmyo Shrine.
From the outside, the one-story building doesn't really give off a Hanok vibe. There's often a wait, but there's no numbering system; you just have to stand in line. I waited for about 2 minutes.
The interior is simple, with a spacious layout and a courtyard-like feel. The central area has a glass ceiling, allowing natural light to flood in. It would be beautifully bright on a sunny day.
One side is equipped with books that you can borrow. It's quiet, so it's a good place to read. From 7 PM, it turns into a bar serving wines, whiskeys, beer and cocktails with food.
The men's and women's restrooms are separated, but I didn't visit them. The traditional Hanok rafter structure is visible.
The menu includes a variety of coffee options, as well as alcoholic drinks and a small selection of baked goods.
My Order:
Flat White: ₩6,000
Total: ₩6,000
The flat white was delicious, with a rich coffee flavor and creamy foam. They make good coffee here!
Since there was a wait, I felt a little self-conscious as a solo customer, so I only stayed for about 20 minutes. Hehe. Also, tourists gotta get back to touring.
Heritage Club is a great place to take a break with a delicious cup of coffee in a tranquil Hanok atmosphere.
Since you can also enjoy drinks in the evening, it seems like you can visit it with another attraction.
