Exploring Bipatisserie in Gongdeok_01

Bipatisserie Gongdeok Branch

4, Mapo-daero 14-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, 1st Floor

Weekdays: 08:00 - 21:00

Weekends: 09:00 - 22:00

After visiting Hawaii, this bakery is the only one that comes to mind!

Bipatisserie has locations in San Francisco and Hawaii, and it turns out there is one in Korea too!

I believe there are three branches, and the one I visited was the Gongdeok branch!

It’s a spacious café, and I wonder why I didn’t know about it sooner.

The opening hours are also convenient for busy professionals looking for a bakery breakfast during weekdays.

The store was quite spacious, with a high ceiling that made it feel even more open.

This created a pleasant atmosphere, and I noticed several people working on their laptops alone.

It would also be a great place for gatherings!

They sell drip bags as well.

Not only do they offer bakery items, but the coffee also has a rich aroma.

The atmosphere of the store suits my taste, and next time, I want to enjoy coffee and pastries on-site instead of taking them to go.

The signature item at Bipatisserie is the Kouign-Amann!

I wanted to try it in Hawaii, but my laziness got the better of me, and I ended up missing out.

Now, I’m trying to satisfy that regret by enjoying it here in Korea.

The variety of bakery items is impressive, so I think anyone who loves bread should visit at least once.

I’m not a huge bread lover, but I stopped by Bipatisserie, enchanted by the memories of Hawaii.

Kouign-Amann Classic: 5,000 KRW

Chocolate Banana Croissant: 6,500 KRW

I couldn’t try the Kouign-Amann in Hawaii, so I can’t compare the flavors accurately, but I still think about the chocolate banana croissant I had there.

Missing that taste, I rushed back to Bipatisserie this time.

The croissant I had in Hawaii was a chocolate banana almond croissant, and although the one I brought home looks different, the ingredient composition is similar, so I had high hopes.

However, the taste was completely different! Should I go back to Hawaii?

The Kouign-Amann was moist with butter and had a lovely texture.

I felt a satisfaction that I couldn’t experience in Hawaii, and I really enjoyed it.

I definitely want to have it again next time!

I plan to visit again to leisurely enjoy coffee and pastries in the café.
