Experience the Chef's Holiday Table at 52 Market Place

Hello
This is Cloud~
We visited 52 Market Place at Voco Seoul Myeongdong for a year-end party with friends!
Chef's Holiday Table at 52 Market Place
Weekdays: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
Weekends: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
We had a hard time finding year-end buffet reviews!
Most reviews were about street food, which made us worry.
This buffet is only available in December!
It offers a unique dining experience with a chef visiting your table starting December 10th.
Enjoy Beef Wellington served from a trolley, Baked Alaska flambé inspired by Namsan, and a festive carving station.
On weekdays, enjoy the carving station and crab thermidor, while weekends and dinner times feature live trolley performances.
Experience the warm holiday mood brought by the chef and witness the Chef's Holiday Table unfold before your eyes.
Reservation can be made by searching for 52 Market Place.
We were excited about the holiday atmosphere!
We made our reservation through Naver and received a 20% early bird discount.
It seems that if you book now, you can still get a 10% discount!
We had to change our reservation on the day, but thankfully, it was possible over the phone!
While waiting for our friends in the lobby, we noticed many foreign tourists nearby.
When everyone arrived, we took the escalator to the 2nd floor of 52 Market Place.
It wasn't crowded, and we had plenty of space!
After confirming our reservation, we went to get our food.
It felt like a semi-buffet!
While the variety wasn't vast, everything essential was there.
In the Korean food section, there were dishes like yukhoe, japchae, and bibimbap.
I skipped the Korean dishes, but friends said the japchae was quite good!
There were also chicken ramen and gnocchi available.
The ramen is prepared in two minutes after you select your ingredients!
We enjoyed steak and crab thermidor, which had shrimp inside.
I liked it so much that I went back for seconds!
The steak station had chefs slicing the meat to your preference!
The dessert section was unique, featuring hot buns and roasted chestnuts.
Personally, the croffle and tiramisu were the highlights for me.
Even though I was full, I couldn't resist finishing the tiramisu!
The fruit section included tangerines, kiwis, pineapples, and oranges.
I picked pineapple from there!
Beef Wellington and Baked Alaska were served to our table.
Unfortunately, the lighting at our table wasn’t great for photos.
Opinions on the two dishes varied among friends!
We requested the drink menu and decided to order sparkling wine to celebrate the season!
It was just enough for six of us!
Again, the lighting was an issue for photos.
It would be great if they could adjust the lighting colors!
They promptly cleared our plates and refilled our drinks whenever needed.
The service was commendable!
After a delightful meal, we took a photo by the tree in the lobby.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the holiday atmosphere with friends!
If you're looking for a buffet with a wide variety of food, you might want to explore other options.
However, if you're looking to celebrate at a reasonable price, it’s worth a visit!
Despite some mixed reviews, I enjoyed trying new dishes!
That concludes my review of the Chef's Holiday Table at 52 Market Place.
