The main hall features an open area and a 16-person room, while the annex offers private rooms for 8, 10, and 20 people, as well as a group seating area for 40.
Exit 13 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Line 2) leads you to a stunning meat house decorated with traditional Korean tiles.
Despite being a weekday evening, the restaurant was bustling with foreign guests. The first floor was full, so we headed straight to the second floor.
The modern interior with a clean white tone gave a café-like atmosphere, and there were private rooms for group gatherings, which looked very accommodating.
From the second floor, we enjoyed a beautiful view of Dongdaemun Dondoni.
We ordered the Jirisan Aged Black Pork Set (540g) for 57,000 KRW and Mukunji Bibim Makguksu for 9,000 KRW.
The restaurant offers a variety of seven sauces and side dishes, including yuzu salad, green onion salad, and green onion kimchi.
One unique sauce is the Sriracha sauce, which pairs well with breadcrumbs, creating a delightful combination.
Personally, the yuzu salad was incredibly delicious! I almost finished a whole plate with my boyfriend, but I had to hold back to save room for the meat.
The green onion salad was perfectly seasoned, complementing the meat well.
The Jirisan Aged Black Pork Set included premium cuts, ensuring a juicy and tender experience, thanks to their patented aging technique.
Notably, the pork raised on wild mugwort has an exceptional balance of fat and lean meat.
The presentation was lovely, with the meat and flowers beautifully plated.
One impressive aspect was the absence of smoke, thanks to their special system that absorbs it immediately, allowing for a pleasant dining experience.
The grilling service is particularly convenient, as the staff grills the meat for you, making it perfect for group gatherings.
We enjoyed the meal with a side of Mukunji Bibim Makguksu, which was a great choice, as the buckwheat noodles paired perfectly with the meat.
Overall, we had a satisfying dining experience and left with happy memories.
