Hello, I'm Dongguri :-)

This post is about B-hind, a cafe with a great atmosphere in Hapjeong, known for its delicious French toast.

Please refer to the map above for the location of B-hind in Hapjeong.

B-hind: 1st floor, Pampas Building, 18, Eoulmadang-ro 5-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea

B-hind ExteriorEnjoyable moment

It's the kind of place you could easily walk past without noticing...lol

There's an outdoor smoking area at the front, and the cafe entrance is inside.

The entrance door says 'push'.

To be honest, it was so dark that we couldn't find the entrance at once.

Hyungyeong and I awkwardly laughed, saying this is typical of cafes these days.

Stepping inside B-hind.

The vintage-style tables and yellow and red lighting catch the eye.

It was a weekday evening, and some of the tables were occupied.

The cafe had a calm atmosphere, and there were quite a few solo customers.

The window seat where we initially sat.

The atmosphere was great, but we almost got sucked into the sofa, so we moved to another spot right away.

After moving, we explored every corner of the cafe.

Behind the bookshelf is the restroom.

A cozy bar table.

It's a space where you can concentrate well.

A brick-built counter and plants everywhere.

It seems like a mismatched combination, but it creates a subtle harmony.

Here's the view of the counter.

I noticed a Buddha statue on one side of the counter when I went to order.

I also saw a Maitreya Bodhisattva in Meditation candle and incense sticks........

I thought it was a Buddhist concept and took a picture because it was interesting.

Hapjeong B-hind Menu and Prices

They have coffee, milk, tea, non-alcoholic beer, and desserts.

Prices start from 5,500 won for an espresso.

I came here because I saw reviews that B-hind is a French toast 맛집 (delicious restaurant).

So we ordered:

Two iced Americanos (5,800 won each) and Vanilla Ice Cream French Toast (8,500 won).

Quenching our thirst while waiting for our order to arrive.

Here's the view of the counter from our seat.

Our order has arrived!

The tray with its bright colors was pretty.

The moist and sweet B-hind French toast itself.

It looks like grilled bananas.

The texture was soft like pudding.

I loved that it was sprinkled with lots of cinnamon powder.

The ice cream addition is a must, not an option.

How can you resist the combination of French toast and ice cream?

It was a perfect combination with Americano, and we quickly emptied the plate.

The coffee tasted not bad.

As we left the cafe, rain started to fall.

I held out because I didn't want to buy a new umbrella, but the rain got heavier.

lol

In the end, Hyungyeong bought an umbrella at the convenience store, and I used it until the bus stop.

I'm always indebted to her, haha.

I was really into French toast and was looking for French toast 맛집s, and thanks to Hyungyeong, I discovered another new Seoul French toast 맛집.

When you're craving French toast in Hapjeong or Hongdae,

When you need to spend time alone in a cafe,

B-hind is a great place to find!

If you're looking for a cafe in Hapjeong, I gently recommend it.

That's the end of the post.

Have a good night everyone :^)
