A Delightful Experience at Gangnam Hanwoo Omakase
서울특별시 강남구 선릉로100길 34

This visit was a special gathering with friends to enjoy a Hanwoo omakase experience in Gangnam. We decided to pool our money together for a memorable meal, and it turned into a carefully paced and satisfying dining course.
From the discreet entrance to the intimate seating, each step of the experience felt intentional. The course moved smoothly from light starters to rich grilled beef, balanced by thoughtful side dishes.
If you are looking for a refined Hanwoo-focused omakase in Gangnam that feels personal rather than flashy, this experience is worth considering.
First Impression and Entrance
Hello. Today, I visited a Hanwoo omakase restaurant in Gangnam with friends.
At first glance, the entrance was so understated that I wondered if I was in the right place.
Once I gently pushed the door and it opened, the mood immediately shifted, setting the tone for a hidden dining experience.
Seating, Space, and Comfort
The dining area is divided into a bar-style counter and private rooms.
The bar seats around ten guests, creating an intimate setting where you can closely watch each course being prepared.
There are racks for coats and separate storage boxes for bags, which keeps the seating area neat.
The private rooms offer a cozy atmosphere and enough space to store personal belongings comfortably.

Course Introduction and Side Dishes
Before the meal began, we received an explanation sheet with one of my friend’s names printed on it.
The sheet outlined the entire course menu and side dishes, making it fun to follow along as each dish was served.
The side dishes included Maldon salt, wasabi, mustard, pickled radish, and kimchi, each designed to complement the Hanwoo flavors.
Opening Courses to Awaken the Appetite
The first course was lobster chawanmushi, a soft steamed egg custard topped with lobster and caviar.
It was gentle and smooth, making it a perfect start to ease into the meal.
Next came Hanwoo tartare, served with avocado and scallop sashimi.
The portion was generous enough that it was difficult to eat in one bite, so we shared it among ourselves.

Beef Sushi and Comforting Interlude
The third course featured three types of Hanwoo beef sushi.
Each piece had its own seasoning and spicy sauce, creating distinct flavors rather than repetition.
After the richness of the beef, a spicy clam jjamppong was served.
This hearty noodle soup balanced the course well and refreshed the palate.
Grilled Hanwoo Highlights
The grilled Hanwoo ribeye was one of the main highlights.
The meat was juicy and flavorful, though it would have been even better served slightly warmer.
A special dish followed: Jack Daniel’s Honey sirloin, flambéed directly at the table.
The live flame added both aroma and a sense of occasion to the meal.
Mini Burger and Final Courses
The mini burger featured a Hanwoo patty topped with truffle sauce and three types of cheese.
It was served with homemade fries and delivered bold flavor despite its small size.
Even though I was already full, the patty was impossible to resist.
The meal concluded with a banana crème brûlée topped with strawberries.
I chose tea, recommended by the staff, which had a gentle and fragrant finish.
Overall Impression
From start to finish, the Hanwoo omakase experience felt carefully curated.
The pacing, variety, and attention to detail made it a memorable dining experience in Gangnam.
It is a place best enjoyed on special occasions, especially when shared with friends.
