I discovered Geumsansa Temple while searching for hydrangea spots near Jeonju. Located in Geumsan-myeon, Gimje, Geumsansa Temple is nestled at the foot of Moak Mountain and offers a rich history, Buddhist culture, beautifully landscaped forest paths, and ecological trails.
During the weekend, families flocked to Geumsansa Temple for picnics. It's an ideal place to escape the heat, listen to the soothing sounds of the valley, and enjoy delicious food while healing in nature.
After parking in the free lot and walking to the temple grounds, you’ll encounter a vibrant path lined with blooming hydrangeas. Pink and blue hydrangeas greet visitors in their unique ways.
As of June 28, both blue and pink hydrangeas are in the process of blooming, with peak conditions expected in the next week or two.
Once the hydrangeas are in full bloom, their lush and radiant beauty will be truly mesmerizing!
