Free Water Playgrounds in Goyang City

Hello!
In Goyang City, we open 'water playgrounds' every year during the hot summer, where everyone can enjoy for free!
In Deogyang-gu, Goyang City, there are two free water playgrounds: 'Hyangdong Sports Park' and 'Jichuk Neighborhood Park'.
Today, I will guide you through the facilities, operation details, and important notes for these two locations.

???? Maintenance Time

I visited on the 'first day' of the opening, July 1, and there were really a lot of people enjoying the water playground!
Despite it being the first day, families with infants and children of various ages were having a great time.
The water playground at Jichuk Neighborhood Park is designed with safety in mind, featuring a depth of 30 cm, making it safe for young children.
Both parks were well-maintained, and the water quality was clean, allowing for a worry-free experience.
In addition to a small yet enjoyable water slide, you can also enjoy refreshing water bombs, making it comparable to a water park.
Both locations have resting areas, so you can comfortably take breaks after playing in the water.
There are staff members on site to ensure safety!
???? The restrooms are conveniently located nearby, ensuring no inconvenience during your visit.
You can use mats under the shade for a comfortable experience, and small shade tents are also permitted.
???? Important Notes ????
✔ No shoes allowed, ✔ No pets allowed, ✔ No food or drinks allowed, ✔ No bicycles allowed.
To maintain a clean water playground, everyone must adhere to these rules!
Infants must wear water diapers.
Unfortunately, neither location has parking available, so if you're not a local resident, please use public transportation.
While Jichuk Neighborhood Park has nearby shops for snacks, Hyangdong Sports Park is a bit farther from stores.
It’s recommended to bring some simple snacks with you.
This summer, why not visit a nearby water playground with your family?
Thank you.
