As the news of plum blossoms blooming signals the arrival of spring, I anticipated the season's beauty and visited Jeonju after work. I arrived around 5 PM, and the Hanok Village had a peaceful atmosphere. I made my way to Jeonju Hyanggyo, passing by Omokdae.

The view of Jeonju Hyanggyo and the surrounding Hanok buildings created a serene landscape. As I walked through the alleys, I was greeted from afar by the sight of red plum blossoms, a delightful first encounter in Jeonju.

With excitement, I quickened my pace, thinking that the plum blossoms must be blooming at Jeonju Hyanggyo. Perhaps because it was a weekday before sunset, the area was quiet, allowing me to enjoy my time more comfortably.

At the entrance of Jeonju Hyanggyo, beautiful red plum blossoms were in full bloom. I noticed people taking a break and capturing photographs, confirming that spring had truly arrived.

The elegant appearance of the straight plum trees caught my attention, and I was curious about how many trees there were within Jeonju Hyanggyo.

Upon entering, I was welcomed by white plum trees that had just started to bloom. I imagined that by next week, they would be in full bloom, showcasing their beauty.

Behind the Daeseongjeon, I could see the gradual appearance of Cornelian cherries and plum blossoms. I strolled slowly towards Myeongnyundang.

Next to Daeseongjeon, yellow Cornelian cherry flowers were blooming. Some people rested beneath the trees while others took photos, creating beautiful images with the backdrop of the door behind them.

Outside the back wall of Daeseongjeon, plum trees extended their branches. The newly bloomed flowers resembled white popcorn.

When fully bloomed, they will create an even more beautiful scene. Although the buds have just begun to open, the sweet fragrance of plum blossoms filled the air as I got closer.

Next to Myeongnyundang, larger plum trees were in full bloom, displaying a strong presence alongside the bamboo grove.

Plum blossoms symbolize the integrity and nobility of predecessors, and they seem to harmonize beautifully with the hyanggyo.

As I walked around Myeongnyundang, the plum blossoms appeared even more vibrant and lovely. The harmony of the hyanggyo and the plum blossoms made for a beautiful spring experience at Jeonju Hyanggyo.

Why not take a spring outing to Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, where the plum blossoms are abundant and in full bloom?

Enjoy the fragrance of the plum blossoms at Jeonju Hyanggyo, where spring has arrived.
