The term Morning Glow refers to the phenomenon where the sky turns red as the sun rises in the morning, a pure Korean word.
It signifies a moment when darkness fades and light begins, but it does not mean that all difficulties in life disappear.
This exhibition focuses on the resilience of people who continue to live each day despite pain and adversity.
We face loneliness, anxiety, relationship struggles, and worries about the future from our respective positions, yet we persist and live for today.
The exhibition Morning Glow reflects on the essence of life, not because it is always beautiful and hopeful, but through the portrayal of humanity's ability to rise again amidst challenges.
The exhibition is divided into three sections:
Section 1: On the Road
Participating Artists: Park Woo-in, Lee Ji-woong, Kim Jai, Jeong Seung-won
This section begins with questions about the direction of life and what it means to live a humane life.
We constantly make choices, sometimes lose our way, and search for the right path. In a life without predetermined answers, the process of creating our own paths helps us understand human existence.
Section 2: It's Raining Again Today
Participating Artists: Kwon Se-jin, Kim Young-jin, Park Jung-yong, Yoo Ji-won, Ha Seung-wan
This section questions what happiness means in life and the essence of human existence.
In a complex modern society, we face constantly changing environments, relationships, and social realities.
Our lives are intertwined with society, and the happiness and anxieties we feel are shaped within it.
Section 3: Nevertheless
Participating Artists: Park Chi-ho, Shin Ho-yoon, Lee In-seong, Lim Yong-hyun, Haru.K
This section tells the stories of people who confront reality rather than dwelling on anxieties about the future.
In an era where the future is uncertain, it is both a source of hope and anxiety.
Yet life continues while we wait for the future. We solve today's problems and endure the present, preparing for tomorrow.
This exhibition invites you to explore the different perspectives on humanity and the meaning of life as seen by artists from varied generations.
