As artificial intelligence (AI) technology transforms the content industry, Gyeonggi Province is actively nurturing creators and professionals to lead the future content market.

Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Content Agency have announced the recruitment of 1,300 trainees for the '2026 AI Content Campus,' aimed at enhancing local creative capabilities using generative AI.

This training program has been completely revamped to align with the actual demands of the industry and will be offered free of charge.

Let's take a closer look at the details of this well-prepared training for the residents.

From learning to production support, AI creator education tailored just for you.

The '2026 AI Content Campus' educational program is divided into 'Creator Training (1,150 participants)' for youth and general residents interested in AI content creation, and 'Expert Training (150 participants)' for aspiring professionals seeking to enter the industry.

The youth program will involve basic education to help middle and high school students explore career paths through direct visits to schools and local youth centers.

Alongside this, practical training will allow students to experience everything from device usage to content production, sparking their interest in AI technology.

Recruitment for this program began on May 22 and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Opportunities for general residents have also been carefully refined.

Residents can easily access AI competency enhancement education anytime, anywhere through the Gyeonggi Lifelong Learning Portal and the KOCW educational content platform.

In particular, 300 residents selected based on their project proposals will receive a voucher providing up to 100,000 KRW to support AI program subscription fees upon completing the training and submitting their content production results.

This practical support is expected to further encourage residents' creative ambitions, with the recruitment of 150 participants planned for June.

Specialized training by genre and job connection, practical courses for aspiring professionals.

The education for aspiring professionals aiming for employment and entrepreneurship has been meticulously structured.

Expert training for Gyeonggi residents aged 18 and above, university students, graduates, and employees is divided into a 100-hour specialized course focusing on webtoon, music, and video technology, and a 50-hour commercial practical course specialized in corporate marketing.

Each course is designed to systematically enhance participants' expertise through practical training, including prompt engineering, portfolio creation, and expert mentoring.

Recruitment for these specialized courses began on May 22, with the commercial practical course set to start in August.

The robust curriculum of the '2026 AI Content Campus' is based on the outstanding achievements of last year's graduates.

Graduates have been selected for international film festivals, including the AI Film Awards Cannes 2026, and have received numerous awards in domestic and international competitions.

This year, facilities linked to practical work have been expanded, with offline training and practical sessions held at a dedicated space in Bucheon, providing comprehensive support for equipment and studio rentals.

Moreover, the excellent portfolios of graduates will be registered on a dedicated page of the design creator platform 'Notefolio,' creating various opportunities for project commissions and actual job connections.

AI has now become a powerful tool that transforms creators' imaginations into reality.

The '2026 AI Content Campus' will serve as a solid foundation for local youth and residents to grow into key talents in future industries.

For those who have previously found AI challenging, this program will provide a friendly pathway into the world of creation, while offering opportunities for those preparing to take significant leaps.

Residents interested in participating can apply through the education and events bulletin on the Gyeonggi Content Agency's official website.

We hope for your active interest and participation as we open new challenges in the future content market.
