From exhibitions showcasing how waste plastics and glass bottles are transformed into beautiful artworks, to interactive spaces for children, and accessible facilities for everyone!
Shall we embark on a journey to the Seoul Upcycling Plaza, where you can learn about the environment and have a unique experience?
♻️ The Transformation of Discarded Resources at the Upcycling Plaza
The Seoul Upcycling Plaza is the largest upcycling cultural complex in South Korea.
Inside, you can find various upcycled artworks and learn about the meaning and process of upcycling in a fun and easy way.
From October 24th, a special exhibition titled "From Resource Circulation to Urban Connection, MULE" will be ongoing.
Here, you can encounter micro-mobility artworks made from waste resources such as plastics, rubber, and clothing.
Admission to the exhibition is free, making it a great opportunity to visit and explore without any burden.
On the first floor of the Seoul Upcycling Plaza, there is a Material Bank where you can meet the beginning of upcycling.
The Material Bank is a space where not only upcycling designers but also ordinary citizens can see and experience upcycling materials and culture.
In the 'Dream Factory' area, you can engage in upcycling activities using various equipment like laser cutters and 3D printers.
The 'Elephant Factory' is a space where children can learn about resource recycling by donating old toys.
The plaza also has a supermarket featuring upcycled products and eco-friendly household items.
After exploring the plaza, take a moment to relax at the restaurant on the fifth floor, which offers a healthy buffet with fresh ingredients.
To enhance your experience, we recommend participating in the free docent tour and hands-on programs available at the plaza.
Seoul Upcycling Plaza is designed to be accessible for everyone, with facilities like elevators, braille signs, and spaces for children.
This World Environment Day, why not spend a meaningful day at the Seoul Upcycling Plaza?
