Today, I'd like to introduce the Yangju City Urban Environment Management Office, which manages and operates the overall water supply, sewage, and park projects in Yangju.

Established in Bongyang-dong, Yangju-si in September 2016, the Urban Environment Management Office has changed its name several times.
The Yangju City Urban Environment Management Office is a department related to Yangju City Hall, not Yangju Urban Corporation. It was renamed the Urban Environment Management Office in August 2014 and currently operates with the Water Supply Division, Sewerage Division, and Park Project Division.
Located on the right side in the direction of Dongducheon from Deokjeong, Yangju, the Urban Environment Management Office is open to the public and has rest areas, a large parking lot, and electric vehicle charging facilities. It's a great place to relax or charge your car while handling administrative tasks.
Upon entering the parking lot, you'll see solar power generation facilities displaying the current, daily, and cumulative power generation, as well as CO2 carbon reduction.

Behind the Urban Environment Management Office is the Yangju Water Supply Branch, which many people visit.
Near the entrance, there is a Nonghyup ATM machine where you can make deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. This may be helpful for those passing by or looking for an ATM near the Urban Environment Management Office.
Inside the building, you'll find the Park Project Division, a public relations center, and a lounge on the first floor, and conference rooms, a situation room, the Water Supply Division, and the Sewerage Division on the second floor.
The first-floor lounge is decorated as a smart garden.
It is a space created to improve the working environment for workers and provide rest for users through the living SOC and industrial complex remodeling collaboration project.
The smart garden has tables and air-purifying plants, as well as plants that help relieve tension and stabilize the mind and body. It's a great place to rest while exercising along the Cheongdamcheon Stream.
Yangju has many large and small parks that are great to visit.
The Park Project Division is responsible for overall park-related matters, such as various sports facilities, park facilities, and management to create a citizen-friendly urban environment.
The Water Supply Division on the second floor is in charge of water supply administration, groundwater, and water supply projects, while the Sewerage Division is in charge of sewerage administration, wastewater management, sewerage facilities, and sewerage management.

In addition to notices related to water supply, notices from each organization are posted on the bulletin board, so reading them when you visit will be helpful in your life.
Next to the bulletin board, there are photos of the Water Supply Branch's sponsorship and environmental cleanup activities, which I found interesting. It's great to see them sponsoring facilities in need.
The Yangju Water Supply Branch also operates a separate website where you can easily check your water bill, apply for and cancel automatic transfers, find information on water outages in your area, simulate your bill, and use a cyber assistant to easily manage your water services.
The Yangju Water Supply Branch operates a customer service center 24 hours a day for old pipe replacement, new water supply construction, and stable water supply to improve tap water.
