Hakpo Waterside Ecological Park, located along the Nakdong River in Bugok-myeon, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, was created during the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project.

It boasts beautiful green scenery and rest facilities, and is especially great for cyclists as it's part of the National Bike Path.

Hakpo Waterside Ecological Park is themed with various zones such as sports facilities, a flower garden, and a wetland. It also provides restrooms and parking.

Thanks to continuous maintenance, the park is clean and pleasant to use.

As soon as you get out of your car, you'll be greeted by lush greenery.

The trees scattered across the grass create an impressive landscape, perfectly embodying the keywords: healing, rest, and relaxation.

Families with children often spend time around the park's gazebo.

Some visitors bring snacks, while others enjoy badminton. The exercise facilities make it a great place for various activities.

Many cyclists can be seen enjoying the dedicated bike path, separate from the walking trails. The path is flat and easy, making it popular among riders.

The path extends approximately 10km to Bugok Hot Springs, allowing cyclists to enjoy a relaxing hot spring after their ride, which is one of the charms of the Changnyeong bike path.

Riding along the river while enjoying the stunning scenery is a truly wonderful experience.

After a brief look around, I decided to head to the observation deck.

Located about 320m from the gazebo, it offers a closer view of the Nakdong River and a refreshing river breeze.

Autumn reeds dance in the wind. During the day, the ecological park is primarily for people, but after sunset, various animals roam around.

I was able to spot animal footprints. It's said that various animals such as herons, mallards, pheasants, and otters inhabit this area.

I arrived at the observation deck, which is made of decking.

The overall shape resembles an arrow, and there are benches for resting.

If your goal in visiting Hakpo Waterside Ecological Park is to enjoy the scenery, the observation deck is a must-visit.

It offers a panoramic view, with the river and reeds creating a picturesque landscape.

It's the best place to appreciate the charm of the Nakdong River!

The park offers great angles for taking photos, and it's known for its beautiful sunsets, so keep that in mind. You might just capture the photo of a lifetime.

The flower garden, with its blooming red plants, creates a different atmosphere. They resemble buckwheat flowers, but I'm not sure of the exact name.

The cloudy weather made it difficult to fully appreciate the colors of Hakpo Waterside Ecological Park, so this was a welcome sight.

A eco-friendly space with different scenery in each of the four seasons!

The autumn atmosphere and tranquility of Changnyeong's Hakpo Waterside Ecological Park are truly charming.
