Seosan Dongbu Traditional Market is a friendly market with 69 years of tradition that has been a part of the local community for a long time.
I visited Seosan Dongbu Traditional Market this year to prepare for Kimjang and to experience the generosity and warmth of Seosan.
Seosan Dongbu Traditional Market is a place with various attractions where you can find almost everything, including seafood, vegetables, and fabrics.
Especially, thanks to the characteristics of Seosan, which is close to the sea, you can immediately see the freshness when you enter the seafood market.
The plumpness of the fresh shrimp I encountered at Dongbu Market before Kimjang was something I wanted to capture in a photo and recommend!
The live shrimp sold at the market that day was reasonably priced at 30,000 to 45,000 won per kilogram, and above all, its glossy freshness and cleanliness were overwhelming.
The market was full of various seafood, so I enjoyed looking around while shopping and had a happy dilemma about what to buy.^^
My family needs squid to make Hwanghae-style bossam kimchi, which my father loved.
Fortunately, there was fresh cuttlefish at Seosan Dongbu Traditional Market, so I bought it right away!
As expected, the fruit and vegetable market was also full of energy for the Kimjang season! Fresh ingredients such as cabbage, radish, and mustard greens were on display.
I could see customers picking mustard greens, and Seosan was definitely in the Kimjang season!
The chili peppers are grown in Seosan's good sunlight and fresh air, so the color is really beautiful.
I thought that adding it would definitely enhance the taste and color.
Seosan, the home of ginger! Seosan produces about 33% of domestic ginger and is the largest ginger producer in the country.
The taste and aroma of ginger were definitely different, and the freshness was also exceptional.
I also bought Seosan ginger to make ginger syrup and use it for this Kimjang.
