On a cold day, we were able to enjoy water activities with our child at the Gapyeong Olive Pool Villa & Kids Pool Villa.

While looking for a place to have a fun time with my child and enjoy a barbecue, I decided on Olive Pool Villa & Kids Pool Villa among the family pensions in Gapyeong.
Located in Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, it took about an hour and a half to drive from Seoul.
Since it was newly built in 2019, I chose it based on reviews that praised the cleanliness of the facilities.
The private terrace barbecue, individual heated swimming pool, and free access to a large kids' cafe were decisive factors in my choice.
Upon arrival, I found that the layout was very family-friendly, with well-prepared amenities focused on children.
There are various room types available at Olive Pool Villa & Kids Pool Villa, ranging from couple spa rooms to kids-only rooms; we opted for the premium pool villa type.
The room was equipped with essentials like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower towels, soap, and dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, making our luggage lighter.
Additionally, there were children's dishes, board games, and a coffee maker, which made it a great place to relax with the kids.
Barbecues can be done using an indoor electric grill or a personal outdoor barbecue, depending on the weather.
The duplex structure separated the living area from the sleeping space, allowing us to put the kids to bed while having conversations among adults.
Moreover, the individual swimming pool directly connected to our room made it easy to jump in with just a towel!
The heated water was available regardless of the season, with temperature options from warm to hot, ensuring a comfortable experience even at night.
The stable water temperature allowed the kids to play for a long time without getting cold, and the adults could relax in the spa.
The large kids' cafe was free for guests, so we could spend plenty of time there without worry, and it had great facilities like ball pits and slides, making it an excellent alternative on rainy days.
During the summer, the outdoor pool opens, and the separation of the adult and kids' pools adds to the safety.
The private terrace barbecue was a highlight of our stay.
If you prefer the smoky flavor of grilled meat, outdoor charcoal is the way to go, while the electric grill is more convenient.
The table height, ventilation, and lighting were well-adjusted, making it easy to feed the kids.
The indoor kitchen was equipped with a microwave, rice cooker, and water purifier, making it convenient to heat up simple meals or baby food.
Overall, if you are considering a family pension in Gapyeong, Olive Pool Villa & Kids Pool Villa is well-equipped for family trips, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both adults and children.
We had a wonderful time, and I look forward to returning in the season when the outdoor pool opens to enjoy both the adult and kids' pools together!
