Family Camping Trip in Jinhae

Instead of the burden of accommodation fees during the holidays, our family decided to prepare for our first car camping trip.
While preparing, I worried whether five of us could sleep comfortably in a single Carnival, but once we set up and lay down, it turned out to be much better than expected.
However, mom and dad had to endure a little discomfort.
Anticipating traffic due to the holiday, we decided to leave at midnight. We quickly prepared some kimbap for the kids and headed to our first destination, Jinhae in Changwon.
Having previously slept in the car while watching the New Year sunrise, all three siblings seemed familiar with car camping and were quite comfortable during the trip. My husband, who drove through the night, probably had the hardest time.
After a good sleep, we woke up around 5:30 AM and finally arrived in Jinhae.
Thanks to searching for the car camping site in advance, we were able to find our spot without any hassle and took some time to relax before breakfast.
We settled at Jinhaeru, which had nearby restrooms and convenience stores, making it a pretty good spot for car camping.
After breakfast at Jinhaeru, we visited Jinhae Marine Park.
Accompanied by our youngest, the park turned out to be larger than we expected, with various attractions including an ecological learning center, Jinhae Ship, and Solar Tower, making it a great place to explore with kids.
In particular, the Solar Tower, a 27-story observatory overlooking Jinhae Bay, was a must-visit. Whenever we travel with the kids, we always make sure to stop by observatories.
The view of the sea from the Solar Tower was breathtaking, and traveling with my three children always brings happiness.
After the Solar Tower, the kids were fascinated by the large Jinhae Ship. Our youngest was thrilled to see the big ship, and we took a picture with the captain.
Exploring the inside of the Jinhae Ship together was like a small experiential learning session about what the Navy does.
After the enjoyable tour of the Marine Park, we moved on to have lunch with the kids.
We chose a 3,000 won old-style jjajangmyeon restaurant not far from the park. If we come to Jinhae again, we definitely want to visit this delicious spot!
The jjambbong was also tasty! Although we had researched this place beforehand, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious jjajangmyeon at such an affordable price, making for a satisfying lunch for everyone.
After spending half a day in Jinhae, we moved on to another location. I plan to write about the next destinations in part two.
