Fees: 5,000 KRW for paddle boat rides, 5,000 KRW for aquatic creature collection (payment with Changnyeong Love Gift Certificates is available)
Free Admission: Children under 30 months, veterans, and one person from families with multiple children
At the Upo Wetland Experience Center, you can enjoy paddle boat rides and collect aquatic creatures. It's a great opportunity to explore with your children.
For parking, it's recommended to use the second parking lot of the Upo Wetland Experience Center for closer access.
Experience Schedule:
Five sessions daily:
- Session 1: 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
- Session 2: 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- Session 3: 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM
- Session 4: 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM
- Session 5: 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
If you purchase tickets on-site, you can proceed to the paddle boat area with the guidance of staff.
It's advisable to familiarize yourself with the safety rules of the experience center to ensure a more enjoyable visit.
Paddle boat rides involve using a long pole to push against the bottom for movement, which may be a bit challenging.
The aquatic creature collection and observation experience takes place in a different area. It's recommended to bring towels and hats, as you may need to wash up after handling the creatures.
Upo Wetland Exhibition Hall:
Operating Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Admission: Free
Main Facilities: Exhibition hall, education hall, greenhouse, aquatic plant garden, barefoot walking trail, fruit tree garden, children's nature playground, and multipurpose lawn.
There is a nursing room in front of the first parking lot, along with a barefoot walking trail where you can explore the aquatic plant garden.
While it may be somewhat remote, the area is a nice space to enjoy nature and take a stroll.
The aquatic plant garden is home to various species, including thorny water lilies and yellow water lilies, with photo zones set up for great pictures.
The surrounding mountains provide a refreshing atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate.
The Upo Wetland Experience Center offers a variety of activities and is a wonderful place for family outings.
