Discovering the Beauty of Nasa Beach in Ulsan
Ulsan is a city that beautifully combines its industrial characteristics with vast natural landscapes and unique attractions.
Flowing through the city is the Taehwa River, alongside the stunning Yeongnam Alps, and you can find beautiful beaches here as well.
Among these, Ulsan boasts several pretty beaches, including Jeongja, Jujeon, and Ilsan. Recently, I visited the most beautiful one, Nasa Beach.
Nasa Beach is located just past Ganjeolgot and before reaching Busan's Gijang. While it is referred to as Nasa Beach due to its address, its official name is "Nasa Beach".
Nasa Beach offers an exotic landscape, and because it is slightly farther from the city center, it has a more leisurely atmosphere compared to Jujeon or Jeongja's pebble beaches.
While Jujeon and Jeongja feature pebble beaches, Nasa Beach is known for its fine sand.
With shallow waters, it is a great spot for families with children. Although the weather is still chilly, making it less crowded, during the summer, you will see many families enjoying the beach.
The gentle waves at Nasa Beach make it ideal for strolls and dipping your toes in the water. It is also famous among anglers, attracting many fishing enthusiasts.
There is a well-maintained path from the beach to the breakwater, making Nasa Beach a popular fishing spot known among anglers.
Nasa Beach in Ulsan offers a different vibe compared to other beaches in the area, filled with exotic charm.
The gentle waves and fine sand create a beautiful atmosphere, characteristic of the hexagonal sand that has formed this land in Ulsan's Seongju-myeon.
The sand here does not stick to your body, allowing for a comfortable barefoot stroll along the beach, and the beautiful colors of the sea and sky blend beautifully together.
Especially at the photo zone near the entrance of Nasa Lighthouse, you can capture beautiful memories with the stunning beach scenery.
As you walk along the beach, you can also enjoy murals that add to the fun of your stroll. The colors of the murals, the blue sky, and the surrounding scenery of Nasa are simply breathtaking.
If you visit at sunset, you can witness a romantic view where the sea and the sunset merge.
The reflection of the sunset on the sea is truly beautiful. It’s wonderful to think that such a scenic beach is not far from downtown Ulsan.
You can also find the Rainbow Beach Road. Walking back along this road after enjoying the beach offers a different charm.
This area is packed with various eateries and charming cafes, making it a great route to enjoy the beach and visit nice cafes or restaurants.
I recommend taking a leisurely stroll at Nasa Beach, where the accumulated sand has transformed into land, allowing you to appreciate the beautiful coastline.
