Did you know there’s an amazing place in Seongnam-dong where you can enjoy time with your child?

I discovered this place for the first time last year, and it seems not many people know about it yet.

Let me introduce it again.

Located in Ulsan, the Ulsan Jung-gu Children's History and Science Experience Center is a fantastic indoor spot for kids to play all day.

Parking and Admission Fees

Operating Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM / Closed on Mondays

The center is situated in a back alley of Seongnam-dong, so those who only stick to the main streets might miss it.

When you arrive, you can park in the on-site parking lot, which is free for visitors using the facilities.

The admission fee is 3,000 KRW per person, regardless of age, making it an affordable and wonderful place to visit.

Learning Opportunities Galore

The Ulsan Jung-gu Children's History and Science Experience Center has a long name, but it lives up to it by offering hands-on experiences in history and science.

It’s filled with activities designed for children, so whenever friends from out of town visit, I make sure to take them here.

The center allows kids to engage in play while learning about topics they are interested in, ensuring they never get bored.

Here, they can touch, run around, think, and learn.

On the upper floor, there are experiential learning rooms where various programs are conducted, and you can participate in them. For detailed program information, you can check the official website.

Kids who don’t know what a fortress is can build their own while gaining knowledge. Create your unique fortress in your favorite color and shape.

On the third floor, you’ll find a space similar to a kids' café where children can truly enjoy themselves. A dinosaur greets you at the entrance.

When I visited, it was under maintenance, but it should be operational now. When you get close, the sensor interacts, making the dinosaur move.

You can also play a game of excavating dinosaur bones and create your own house using various sponge blocks.

If your child is active, they will definitely love this place.

This is a cost-effective venue filled with opportunities to learn about various scientific concepts and the history of Ulsan.

Come and visit the Ulsan Jung-gu Children's History and Science Experience Center!
