A Fun-Filled Day at Dalgungi Challenge Park Near Yongsan Station, Daegu: Perfect for Kids!

Hello, I'm Yena's Mom!
With the long Chuseok holiday approaching, I was wondering what to do with Yena during my solo parenting time. After some thought, I decided to visit Dalgungi Challenge Park near Yongsan Station in Daegu, a great place for kids that's easily accessible by public transportation.
(Dalgungi Challenge Park opened on October 1st!)

Located 31m from Yongsan Station Exit 4

The park offers two types of tickets: a 3-activity pass and an all-access pass. Tickets are classified as child (24 months to elementary school age) and adult (middle school and above). Children under 24 months can enter for free with supporting documents.
Ticket Prices:
3-Activity Pass: Child ₩15,000 / Adult ₩12,000
All-Access Pass: Child ₩26,000 / Adult ₩19,000
They also have special opening discounts: 30% off for Dalseo-gu residents and 30% off if you arrive by subway!
Dalgungi Challenge Park is a unique theme park right in front of Yongsan Station (Daegu Subway Line 2) and across from Homeplus Seongseo, making it very accessible by public transport. It offers a variety of challenging and engaging activities.
They have several play areas for toddlers, including fishing, sand play, and trampolines, making it a great place to visit with young children.
There's also a year-round sledding hill, climbing walls, bumper cars, and even a bungee jump for kids!
Yena especially loved the mini Viking ride and the mini train. With the all-access pass, she rode them endlessly!
(Parents can ride with their children on the rides, which was great for the whole family.)
Inside Dalgungi Challenge Park, there's a craft area where you can take a break from the rides and create your own unique souvenir.
(Currently, only key ring making is available.)
At the craft area, we made "Future Job" wood shaker key rings. Yena chose to make a painter key ring.
(The key ring making experience costs ₩6,000.)
You can also get coffee at the craft area for the budget-friendly price of ₩1,000.
(Currently, only iced Americano is available, but syrup is provided.)
A must-try at Dalgungi Challenge Park near Yongsan Station is the High Ropes course! Children under 125cm can enjoy the course in the toddler zone.
(So Yena was able to try the High Ropes in the toddler zone with adult supervision.)
Children between 125cm and 140cm can use the 2nd and 3rd floors of the High Ropes course with adult supervision, and children over 140cm can use it alone.
(Adults can also participate, so challenge yourself with your children!)
Yena loved the zipline in the toddler zone so much that she kept riding it!
(Yena tried the High Ropes at 2:40 PM and 4:00 PM.)
In the toddler zone, guardians don't need to wear protective gear, but adult supervision is definitely needed since it's hard for toddlers to pull the ropes themselves.
(So it's best for parents to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.)
As a pedestrian, I found Dalgungi Challenge Park very convenient to visit because it's located right at a subway station (Line 2). It's a great place for both kids and adults to enjoy together.
With so many fun activities and experiences, Yena and I had so much fun that we stayed until closing!
If you're wondering what to do with your children during the rest of the Chuseok holiday, I recommend visiting Dalgungi Challenge Park near Yongsan Station in Daegu and enjoying all the different experiences!
