During the holiday, we visited my wife's family in Seoul, and I wondered where the kids could have a fun day out.
There are many amusement parks near Seoul, but with a chance of rain, we decided on Lotte World Adventure, which offers both indoor and outdoor attractions!
It had been three years since my last visit in 2022.

⏰ Early Departure and an Unexpected Rush
We left for Seoul early in the morning, so we were expected to arrive at Lotte World around 8:40 AM.
Since the opening time was 10 AM, I thought we were too early, so I drove a bit slower.
However, the traffic was a little heavy near Jamsil, and we arrived at 8:50 AM.
We parked in the A10 parking zone, which is close to the entrance, and slowly walked towards the main gate of Lotte World Adventure.
I didn't expect many people, but I was wrong.
Even one hour before opening, the line was incredibly long.
"I didn't know so many people would be lining up this early… ㅠㅠ"
We barely found a spot at the end of the line and sat down to wait for the entrance time.
The kids were already excited, and I was just thinking, "When are we going to get on Comet Express…?"

As soon as we entered, we went straight to Magic Island!
Our only goal was Comet Express (a Lotte World roller coaster).
But the line was already incredibly long.
The line turned around, and the end wasn't visible.

Plus, it was raining, so outdoor popular rides like Gyro Drop and Atlantis were not operating, so everyone seemed to be crowded here.
"Are we going to waste the whole day waiting for this?"
Still, my child really wanted to ride, so we just stood in line.

Finally, it was my turn!
While waiting in line, I honestly regretted it a little, but once I rode it, I thought, "This is 괜찮네 (not bad)!"
It spun around and had some speed, but it wasn't extremely thrilling.
It was more of a moderately exhilarating and fun roller coaster feel rather than scary.
Even I, who is afraid of roller coasters, could ride it, and my child smiled, saying, "It's not as scary as I thought!"

While waiting for Comet Express, my wife got reservation queue tickets for the Spanish Pirate Ship and French Revolution.
My wife and I aren't good with scary rides, so my son decided to ride alone.
This was surprisingly helpful.
If just one member of the family gets a reservation ticket, you can just send the child at the designated time, which is much more efficient.

When visiting as a family, it's enough for one representative to get reservation queue tickets!
However, it's essential to manage your schedule so that the ride times don't overlap.
????️ Lotte World Rides Good for Families to Enjoy Together
It was raining, so we gave up on the outdoor rides and moved indoors.
Adventures of Sindbad: The line moves quickly, so it's good to ride with children.
Wild Valley / Wild Jungle / Wild Wing: Located on the first underground floor of Underland
The app said the wait time was 40-50 minutes, but when we got there, it was actually about 60-80 minutes.
4D Shooting Theater: The queue shrinks quickly, so I recommend trying it once.
Wild Wing was especially fascinating as a 4D experience, but from the middle on, I thought, "It's a little boring…" ????
???? Lotte World Parking Fee & Tips
When you play all day at the amusement park, you're bound to wonder about the Lotte World parking fee.
With a day pass, the maximum fee is ₩3,000 for up to 8 hours.
After that, it's an additional ₩1,000 every 10 minutes.
I guess they want you to leave after 8 hours… haha
If possible, parking in the A10-A12 area makes it easy to access the main gate and move around.

Some rides were suspended due to the rain, but it was a fulfilling day filled with laughter, running, and waiting with my child.
Above all, thanks to the Lotte World SKT discount, it was a great value because we enjoyed the day at half price.
Next time, I'm planning to pre-purchase a Lotte World Magic Pass so that I can enjoy it more smartly.
