My Own Money, My Own Review: Boda Yeonheejae Studio Wedding Photoshoot

Direct point, no sponsorship, my own money, my own review!
I booked Boda Yeonheejae Studio in April and finally went for my photoshoot at the end of August.
I got a discount for the summer off-season, and the weather was amazing! ㅋㅋㅋ
I did prepare for the photoshoot... somewhat.
As someone who's diligent in their head but has zero action, I had many ideas for the photoshoot concept, like a black dress, bubbles, a fake cake... but I only brought confetti. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Even though I didn't have any props!!!!
I did plan out the makeup, hair, dress, and overall concept beforehand. So, the shoot went smoothly as planned!
Actually, I was so out of it in the morning that I forgot the black dress ^^..
I just wore the three dresses and changed my hair three times ㅋㅋㅋ
Below are the inspiration images I brought! A whopping 12 pages ㅋㅋㅋ
(If you need them, please like and leave a comment. I created it on my work computer, so I can't export the PPT...???? I'll send you the JPG files)
I even printed out my desired shots including hair, makeup and dresses, and the photographer and hair/makeup artists reflected them so well.
First, let's talk about the dresses.
You can try on 5 dresses, and most people seem to try on 2 ball gowns, 2 slim dresses, and 1 colored dress.
I scoured all the blog reviews and found 3 styles I wanted to wear: 1 lace ball gown, 1 silk slim dress, and 1 colored dress.
I showed the helper, and she immediately checked and brought out 3 dresses. I asked her to recommend the other 2! (Since I heard she was good at it)
But the ones she recommended were so pretty that I seriously considered them...
But in the end, I already knew what I wanted, so I chose the 3 I had pre-selected lol
Here are the detailed photos of the 2 dresses I didn't choose!
⬆️ The left is a beaded ball gown / the right is a lace slim dress
The beaded ball gown was so pretty in person...
But when I took photos, it didn't capture the vibe I wanted, so I passed on it~ (I thought, I should wear this style for my actual wedding!! ㅎㅎ)
The lace slim dress was also so pretty in person...
But it looked better worn alone. I wanted a lot of bolero variations, so I gently let it go ~
(But my friends said it was a perfect fit and wondered why I didn't take photos in it..????)
Now, the dresses I pre-selected and chose ㅋㅋ
⬇️ The lace ball gown I chose, with a hint of strawberry milk color!

Hair: Straight / Groom: Black suit + white tie
I have naturally wavy hair... I chose this hairstyle to satisfy myself ㅎㅎ
I can't give up my bangs because my forehead is M-shaped and wide, but Hongdae Atelier's Soyeon Director did such a great job covering my face shape, and my complex completely disappeared...???? The best..????
FYI, this dress is really heavy ㅠㅠ
Super heavy ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I felt like my ribcage was disappearing ㅠㅠ
⬇️ The second dress is a colored dress!
<Photoshoot Shot>
Hair: Wavy perm / Groom: Black suit + green tie
I only thought of this one for the colored dress. There was no alternative. Thankfully, my shoot was at 1 PM, and the previous team didn't choose it, so it was available ㅎㅎ
(I heard that even if the previous team is shooting with it, you can receive it and wear it after they're done!)
I loved the colored dress so much, but I actually loved my hair the most!!!!
I've gotten waves done often when getting my hair styled, but it often didn't turn out the way I wanted.
But... this time, it was exactly my style ㅠ Soyeon-ssam... you're the best..????????
I took so many selfies because I loved my hair so muchㅋㅋㅋ
The only downside is that the colored dress shoot felt too short and rushed compared to the two white dresses ㅠㅠ
⬇️ Lastly, the slim silk dress I chose!
<Photoshoot Shot>
Hair: Low bun / Groom: Cream-colored suit (rented from Boda Yeonheejae)
I was very sad about the lace slim dress I rejected, but I had high expectations for bolero variations, so I chose a simple silk slim dress instead ㅎㅎㅎ
The helper knew my mind and brought me 3 boleros!!
Basic dress, puff sleeves, off-shoulder, halter neck versions
I took photos in 4 different concepts, so it was a very generous dress ㅋㅋㅋ
I heard that beige suits were available for rent for the groom, so I decided to rent one, but it seems closer to a cream color than beige. It went very well with Mantteung!
There were so many pretty dresses.
The dress quality was also good.
There are a variety of styles.
However, the uncertainty of not knowing what I'll be wearing until the morning of the shoot might be a little stressful lol
The photographer provided all the bouquets. (There are a lot of bouquet types, but surprisingly, there weren't many scenes where I was holding a bouquet?)
The helper (short hair, doesn't wear glasses) recommended the earrings.
The hair and makeup were done at Hongdae W Atelier, and both my husband and I were very satisfied. I especially especially love Soyeon-ssam!! (My own money, genuinely satisfied review ㅋㅋㅋ)
Oh, right
When you arrive at the studio
The order is hair and makeup -> dress selection -> photoshoot.
I think it's important to choose the first hairstyle and the first dress well.
Most people do a voluminous dress with hair down, so that seems to be the first look!
Since my shoot was at 1 PM,
I arrived at 10:30 AM to prepare for hair, makeup, and dress, and I left around 4:30 PM after taking photos and having the final consultation.
The selection date was available sooner on weekdays,
But it was available at least a month later on weekends.
I was told that the original photos would be available about 3 days after the selection date (too slow)
I was told that the edited photos, frame, and album would be available about 5 months after the selection date. (very slow)
If your photoshoot and wedding are within 7 months, I don't think you should book. You might get hit with a ton of extra charges because you're in a hurry.
Anyway, I'll post the results and my review of them after the selection date (or after receiving the edited photos).
Part 1 is a quick post for those who are curious about Boda Yeonheejae's dresses, hair, and makeup. That's all~
