Hair Transformation at Nodo O Hair: Rebonding My Naturally Wavy Hair in Songpa

I'm sharing my experience of getting my naturally wavy hair rebonded at Nodo O Hair, a salon near Songpa Station known for their meticulous work.
The salon is conveniently located near Exit 1 of Songpa Station, right in front of the main gate of Jamsil Girls' Middle School.
Their operating hours are 11 AM to 9 PM on weekdays and 10 AM to 8 PM on weekends.
You can find information on services and prices on Naver Booking. They also have a noticeable first-time visitor discount event, making it a great opportunity to try a new salon without 부담.
The overall atmosphere of the salon was bright and pleasant.
The floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of sunlight, and its location on the second floor provides privacy as you can't see people passing by. Even though it's currently a one-person salon run by the owner, the space was quite spacious.
Since I have naturally wavy hair, I need to get root rebonding every three months and full rebonding every one to two years. This tends to damage my hair, and the roots keep getting frizzy. That's why it's important to get rebonding done at a place that minimizes damage. So, I looked for Nodo O Hair, which is known for its restorative rebonding in Songpa.
Although I booked a restorative rebonding treatment, the owner still carefully checked my hair condition once again.
What I really liked about head stylist Juwon was that she didn't just push me to do this and that because my hair was damaged. She told me that my hair was still in good condition, but it would be better to get restorative rebonding to prevent further damage.
Restorative rebonding is a less damaging treatment that can even be done on bleached hair. However, they don't just do it for anyone. They actually check your hair condition and might refuse the treatment if your hair isn't in a suitable state.
Before:
You can see the wavy hair has grown out a lot just by looking at it. When the frizz is this visible, it's really bothersome to the touch and looks messy unless I tie it up tightly.
I comfortably enjoyed a cup of coffee while the owner started the rebonding process.
Restorative rebonding takes about two and a half to three hours for medium-short length hair, so it's a good idea to schedule enough time.
The owner meticulously applied the restorative rebonding solution, applied heat, and washed my hair twice, separating the roots and the rest of the hair.
She also generously added clinic treatments and nutrients throughout the process.
The owner has a tsundere side; she added nutrients and protective agents without saying anything. When I asked if it was a nutrient treatment, she confirmed and said she had added a lot.
My hair already looked calmer just from applying the solution.
Then it was time for the straightening iron!
I liked that the owner did everything from start to finish in this one-person shop.
At chain salons, the staff usually do the ironing, but at Nodo O, the owner does it all, which made me feel more confident and it definitely made a difference.
After the ironing, my hair was so calm that I wondered if it was really mine.
The final step was to thoroughly neutralize the hair.
After washing my hair in the shampoo area, she added another clinic treatment and steamed it.
I felt like she should be charging extra for all this, but I just stayed quiet and grateful.
After everything was done, she dried and styled my hair with a hairdryer. I think using a hairdryer for styling instead of a straightening iron is a sign of a true expert, and the owner really did a great job with the hairdryer.
And that's how the restorative rebonding was completed!
It was straightened really neatly, and it felt like my hair texture was revived.
My hair didn't feel dry or rough after the rebonding; it felt soft and smooth. The restorative rebonding effect itself was good, and I guess she added a lot of protective agents and nutrients.
The ends of my hair still had some leftover damage from previous dyeing and haircuts, so I decided to trim them again later.

Left) Before, Right) After
It looks like I was born with straight hair, but if you compare it to the before picture, it's like I became a different person in three hours.
I achieved smooth, straight hair.
I took a picture feeling happy that I looked like I had naturally straight hair.
I'm especially satisfied that it was straightened with almost no damage because I got it done at a place that specializes in restorative rebonding.
This place is also known for being a salon that does men's hair well in Songpa. When I went, all the customers before and after me were men. If you're a salon nomad, you might want to give it a try.
There's a first-time visit discount, and you can get even more discounts if you use a membership, so if you're looking for a good salon in Songpa, you can visit Nodo O Hair without 부담.
