The strategic defense mobile game Defense Derby is holding a collaboration event with Naver Webtoon’s popular series “Tiger Brother”. Through this collaboration, four popular characters will appear in Defense Derby. The king of the Eastern lands ‘Sangun’, the mysteriously powerful ‘Arangsa’, the baby tiger ‘Mooke’, and the main villain ‘Chui’ are introduced as skins and emotes for the Wolf Berserker, Frost Mage, Baby Yeti, and Root Warrior, respectively. The Defense Derby x Tiger Brother collaboration runs until January 12, 2024, so be sure to check it out.

Tiger Brother is a fantasy webtoon serialized on Naver Webtoon since 2015. It tells the story of a mysterious child with special powers, the half-man half-beast “White Eyebrow” trying to use the child to rule the world, and the monster tiger “Bbareu” who unintentionally becomes the child’s protector, along with Gauri, who dreams of becoming a guardian warrior.
The Mooke skin and emote can be obtained by collecting the special event currency “Tiger Paw” during Derby Mode gameplay and exchanging it at the event shop.

Sangun’s skin can be equipped by the Wolf Berserker of the Beast race,
Mooke’s skin can be equipped by the Baby Yeti of the Beast race,
Arangsa’s skin can be equipped by the Frost Mage of the Human race, and
Chui’s skin can be equipped by the Root Warrior of the Spirit race.
Note that the Mooke skin can be earned just by playing the game, so don’t miss it!
Other character skins are available as packages in the shop.
Owned skins can be applied via the new “Skin” button on the hero/unit screen, and applying a skin changes the appearance accordingly.

A new Spirit-type magical unit, Flame Imp, has also been updated.
The Flame Imp is a ranged utility unit that weakens the target, reducing the damage inflicted on the castle.
You can experience this new unit through the Derby Brawl – Flame Imp Mirror Match, available from December 15 to 28.
It can also be acquired through the Blessing Shop, 7-day login rewards, Lucky Draw, and Pickup Summons.

Get into the holiday spirit with Christmas skins and events!

The Christmas event runs from Dec 14 (Thu) to Dec 31 (Sun), 2023.
One puzzle piece is unlocked each day from the event’s start.
Complete all missions tied to each puzzle piece to receive the final reward.
Only after finishing the previous puzzle and claiming its reward can you proceed to the next day’s puzzle.

Rewards include:
❄️ Snowy Christmas Castle (7-day),
???? Cubics, All-Purpose Crystals, Elixirs, Gems, and
???? Random Legendary Unit Summon Tickets.
Complete all 13 puzzle missions to receive them all!

New System: Unit Skins

A new skin system has been added, allowing players to change their unit’s appearance.
With this update, you can see newly designed Frost Mage, Wolf Berserker, Root Warrior, and Baby Yeti.
Applying a skin not only changes the appearance but also the unit’s voice.
With the addition of the skin system, scouting animations now reflect applied skins, so when your scouted unit appears, it will display with your selected skin.

Other improvements have been made to address abnormal gameplay behavior during quest completion.
Some quest conditions have been adjusted for better playability.
The Derby quest system has also been improved for user convenience.
Additional enhancements include:

Start 2024 with Defense Derby!
When new content becomes available or rewards are obtainable, a red dot notification will appear for better awareness.

Other patches include:

???? Improvements to Hero’s Journey.

Finally, the new unit “Blacksmith” will be released on December 29, and the New Year’s Event will start in January, so look forward to Defense Derby’s exciting year-end content!
