Even before planning my trip, I made sure to find some great black pork restaurants in Seongsan.
After comparing various reviews and ratings, I chose a place and finally got to visit it.
I was more than satisfied, so I decided to write this review.

This restaurant is conveniently located near Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), Seopjikoji, and Phoenix Island, making it easy to fit into your itinerary.
The advantage was that I could visit without having to set aside extra time while moving between tourist attractions.
The fact that it's a family business running for two generations also added to my trust.
I felt that they were maintaining the taste with the same methods they had built up over a long time.
There was plenty of parking space in front of and around the store, so travelers who brought a car could visit comfortably.
The exterior was rustic yet clean, highlighting the texture of Jeju stone walls, and the interior created a warm atmosphere with a wood tone.
The tables were spaced wide apart, so you could eat without bumping into the next table, and the table sizes were large enough to accommodate family visitors comfortably.
The menu had a variety of black pork cuts, and I ordered a platter to taste a little of each.
The prices were also reasonable for a restaurant in a tourist area.

I was also satisfied with the service.
The meat had fine cuts, so it cooked softly to the core, and the juices burst naturally each time I chewed, making the texture feel more attractive.
The vibrant color and glossy visuals of the Yukhoe (beef tartare) were the first to catch my eye.
When eaten with pear slices, a subtle sweetness came to life, and a drop of sesame oil completed the savory flavor.
It was clean without any gamey smell, and the savory taste lasted for a long time.
The unique sweetness of the fresh meat spread throughout my mouth, and the aftertaste was light.
The basic side dishes, which they said they made themselves, were generally not too strong, so I felt they were a good combination to eat with the meat.
It wasn't too salty, so it went well with rice.
The cucumber kimchi, which was prepared in the self-service corner, had a crunchy texture and a spicy and sour taste.
I could feel the natural moisture of the cucumber as it was.

The different textures harmonized and it was a combination that made me want to eat more.
The Mul-Naengmyeon (cold noodles in chilled broth) I ordered as a side dish came with the broth in a slushy state, so I could feel the coolness.
It wasn't too strong, but the sour taste was alive, so it felt like it cleansed my mouth after eating meat.
The noodles maintained a chewy texture and did not become soggy, and it harmonized with the savory broth, making it feel like a good combination to eat with meat.
The quality and texture of the meat, the composition of the side dishes, and the service were all well-balanced at this Seongsan black pork restaurant.
2. Sunflower Snack Bar (해바라기분식)

I went there to eat tuna stew that wasn't too spicy but still had a kick.
I also ate Sundubu-tang (soft tofu stew), which was spicy and refreshing, and the soft tofu was charming.
3. Gasiabang Noodles (가시아방국수)
Menu: Dombe Pork (돔베고기) - ₩33,000

The noodles, with their rich broth that was savory and refreshing, were very popular.
The noodles were chewy, and the pork noodles were savory and rich in flavor.
4. Iltong Iban (일통이반)
Menu: Sea Urchin Roe (Fresh) - ₩45,000
Address: 25, Jungang-ro 2-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
Hours: 12:00 - 23:30
The owner, who is operating as the No. 1 Haenam (sea woman) in Korea, had really fresh seafood.
I was able to enjoy a variety of high-quality seafood without any fishy taste.
5. Takumasushi (타쿠마스시)
Menu: Jeju Mackerel Sushi - ₩26,000
Address: 15, Seopjikoji-ro, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
Hours: 11:30 ~ 22:00 (Break Time 15:00 ~ 17:30), Closed every other Tuesday
It was a sushi restaurant run by a chef who had experience working in a luxury hotel.
The sushi was really high quality, chewy, savory, and delicious.
