Today, I'm excited to introduce a fantastic pizza restaurant located in Seomyeon, Busan.
A friend of mine has been raving about this wood-fired pizza place, so I had to check it out!
It's called 'Pickles'!
Pickles, a well-known pizza spot in Seomyeon, is located in the Jeonpo Cafe Street area.
It's conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from both Seomyeon Station (Line 1) and Jeonpo Station (Line 2), making it easily accessible.
Plus, there are tons of cafes nearby, making it a great spot for a date or meeting place!
I visited around 2 PM on a weekday, so there was no waiting time.
However, it's usually quite busy, so I highly recommend checking the Catch Table app before you go!
Here's a look inside:
You can see the kitchen from inside, and it's impeccably clean.
The window seats are cozy and inviting.
The 2-4 person tables inside are also great, with comfy sofas and chairs.
Table settings and sauces are prepared in advance.
They brought us the menu and pickles right away. (Pickles can be refilled at the self-service bar)

The menu consists of three categories: pizza, pasta, and sides.
They also have set menus that include pizza, a side, and pasta.
You can order half-and-half pizzas, which is perfect for trying two different flavors!
They also have a receipt review event where you can get a free drink, so I recommend participating!
Two of us visited, and we ordered the Jambon Beurre Pizza and the Puttanesca, which my friend strongly recommended.
Salty jambon combined with fresh arugula
Jambon Beurre Pizza
First up is the Jambon Beurre Pizza.
It's topped with fresh arugula, jambon, butter, and pistachios on a perfectly baked pizza.
The visuals are stunning!
I cut a slice and took a bite. The chewy dough, fresh arugula, salty jambon, and savory butter were all so delicious.
I'm so glad I ordered the whole Jambon Beurre instead of half-and-half!
They recommended sprinkling salt on the crust.
The pizza dough is chewy, the cheese is grilled to a golden-brown, and the saltiness of the salt enhances the flavor.
This pizza is totally my style! It's been a while since I've found a great pizza place in Seomyeon!
Full of Olive Scent
Puttanesca
This is the Puttanesca pasta with anchovies, olives, and tomatoes.
As I mixed the pasta, the fragrant olive scent filled the air, and the olives tasted amazing!
The noodles went so well with all the ingredients. The celery was flavorful and delicious!
The pizza also goes well with draft beer.
My friend ordered beer after just one bite of the pizza. We really enjoyed our meal!

My friend had been strongly recommending this pizza place, and now I know why!
From the dough to every single ingredient, everything was delicious and went together perfectly!
Both the pasta and pizza were amazing, and I can see why there's often a wait. We really enjoyed our meal!
