Exploring Cafe 75: A Hidden Gem in Gapyeong

On our way back from camping in Gapyeong with family, we stopped by Cafe 75, known for its beautiful waterside garden.
This spacious bakery cafe offers stunning views of the Bukhan River, along with Italian brunch, dining options, and private camping barbecues all in one place.
Located at 1883 Bukhan-gang-ro, Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, this cafe operates daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
As we drove along, inhaling the fresh phytoncides, we arrived at Cafe 75, feeling excited about the exotic atmosphere reminiscent of a serene European lodge.
The parking area was clean and ample, making it easy to stop by during our drive. From the moment we stepped out of the car, the lush greenery welcomed us, setting the stage for a relaxing experience.
Upon entering, the high ceilings and elegant decor caught our attention. The view of the Bukhan River through the large windows was breathtaking, instantly relieving our stress.
On one side, a long table bathed in warm sunlight was surrounded by large plants and modern furniture, creating the perfect backdrop for memorable photos.
Descending to the lower level, we found a spacious terrace area that offered a sense of openness, ideal for lounging and enjoying the water views.
The outdoor space along the riverside featured a green lawn and private tents, allowing guests to enjoy meals and desserts while immersed in nature.
Under a large umbrella, the outdoor tables felt like a resort getaway, with the cool river breeze and stunning mountain views enhancing the experience.
The shaded area was equipped with camping supplies, so we could enjoy the camping vibe without the hassle of bringing our own gear.
Below the outdoor garden, a beautiful deck by the river was home to moored yachts, creating a picturesque scene that made us wish time would stand still.
The menu counter displayed everything from camping barbecues to dining options, as well as bakery items and beverages. We decided to start with the dining menu to satisfy our hunger.
The dishes were comparable to those in high-end restaurants, prepared by a professional chef, which made us even more curious about the flavors.
Shortly after placing our order, our meals arrived beautifully plated. The fresh salad marked the start of our dining experience, topped with smooth ricotta cheese and blueberries over crisp seasonal vegetables.
We enjoyed the freshly baked bread topped with vegetables and ricotta, enhanced by a zesty dressing that made it perfect for brunch.
The highlight was the visually stunning Korean beef steak, cooked to perfection and served with grilled vegetable garnishes.
Using premium beef ensured a tender texture without any chewiness, and the smoky grill marks added an aromatic touch.
We dipped the steak in barbecue sauce, which was sweet and juicy, perfectly complementing the meat.
Next, we tried it with whole grain mustard, which added a delightful tangy crunch that paired beautifully with the steak.
The basil oil pasta, a standout dish, was rich in flavor with plump shrimp, making it a delightful choice.
The pasta was cooked just right, with the sauce perfectly coating each strand, allowing us to enjoy a clean and light dining experience.
After our meal, we explored the bakery corner, where the aroma of sweet and savory breads filled the air. The variety, from traditional red bean bread to fruit-topped croissants, was impressive.
With a strawberry cream croissant and a refreshing drink in hand, we settled on the open terrace, enjoying the beautiful green surroundings and delicious desserts.
The mint limeade was the epitome of freshness, bursting with flavor and pairing excellently with the sweet bakery items.
We also ordered an iced Americano, a must-have in any bakery cafe, which provided a rich and satisfying finish to our meal.
Sipping coffee with the serene river and lush trees in the background allowed us to recharge and escape the hustle of daily life. Cafe 75 exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it for its dining, bakery, and beverage offerings.
