Discovering Delicious Pork Noodle Soup Near Jeju Airport: A Perfect Spot for Breakfast

Recently, I was planning a trip to Jeju Island, and a friend who had visited before strongly recommended a breakfast spot near Jeju Airport. I finally had the chance to check it out.
Location: Goguksu Airport Main Branch, 1st floor, 4 Yongmun-ro 14gil, Jeju City, Jeju
Hours: Daily 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Break Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Last Order: 7:50 PM
1. Beautiful Garden
Let me introduce you to a breakfast restaurant near Jeju Airport that welcomes you with a beautiful garden. It's located in the heart of Jeju, less than a 5-minute drive from Jeju International Airport. The place is called Goguksu Airport Main Branch.
2. Something to Share
When an acquaintance told me about a great noodle restaurant in Jeju, I initially dismissed it, thinking, "There are so many noodle places in Jeju."
3. Parking Facilities
The location was more than satisfactory. However, being close to the airport and in Jeju City, I was worried about parking. Fortunately, there's a spacious parking area right in front of the restaurant. I quickly parked and hurried inside.
4. Food Selection
The signature dish here is Pork Noodle Soup (Gogi Guksu), and there are also various other Jeju-style dishes available.
While waiting for my order, I noticed the garden again, and it struck me as truly beautiful.
Although it's an indoor garden, it's quite large and creates a very stylish and beautiful atmosphere.
Soon, the side dishes started to arrive. My favorite was the white kimchi. It was so clean and refreshing that it felt like the perfect accompaniment to rice and water on a hot summer day.
The main dish, Pork Noodle Soup, a representative dish of breakfast restaurants near Jeju Airport, finally arrived.
I can't express how perfect it was. From the broth to the noodles and the toppings, everything was flawless.
Not only was there plenty of pork, but also various other toppings, showing the care they put into the dish. The noodles are handmade by the owner, making them exceptionally delicious compared to other places.
The noodles were chewy and soft, and they didn't get soggy easily, which I really liked. Sometimes, when you order noodles, the portion seems smaller than before. But unlike other places, these noodles didn't feel heavy or tiring, and they maintained their springy texture until the end, which I appreciated.
Eating the noodles, pork, and white kimchi together was simply superb. I visited this place on the last day of my trip, but if I had come on the first day, I would have definitely visited again during my trip.
The Pork Noodle Soup comes with seaweed flakes and pepper, so you can add them according to your preference. I usually add a lot of seaweed to my food, but this time, it tasted great without it. The natural flavor was cleaner and more satisfying.
Next up was the Gondre Dumplings. I was curious about the taste of Gondre Dumplings and hesitated to order them, but curiosity eventually won.
They were beautifully shaped, offered great value for the price, and tasted much better than I expected. I was worried that the gondre flavor might be too strong, but it was just right. It's a taste that's hard to imagine specifically, even if you can roughly guess what it might be like.
Dipping them in the provided soy sauce, the gondre flavor wasn't overpowering but spread gently in my mouth, which was very pleasant.
If you're looking for a hearty meal, why not try the Pork Rice Soup at this Jeju breakfast spot? You can even have it spicy if you like.
It's packed with so much pork that it feels like half the bowl is meat, and the other half is rice and broth. No matter how much you eat, the meat doesn't seem to decrease, making it an excellent value for the price.
The chives were fresh, and I'd love to visit again for this rice soup, even though the main dish is noodles. The rice soup was just as delicious.
Lastly, I want to show you the Whole Octopus Fritter from this breakfast restaurant near Jeju Airport. My friend strongly recommended it, saying it was so good that I had to try it even if I was full. It's a taste that keeps coming back to my mind.
When I first saw it, I thought, 'Wow, a whole octopus! It looks delicious!' However, the taste itself didn't leave a massively strong impression. But after taking a bite, it was crispy, and the octopus flavor that filled my mouth as I chewed was very satisfying.
Even though I didn't have any particular feelings about it at first, I kept craving it from the moment I left the restaurant. But there's nowhere else to get it, and it's hard to go all the way to Jeju just for this. It's a taste that drives you crazy.
The owner cooks everything with care, so you can taste the dedication in every dish, making it a very satisfying experience.
This is definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Jeju.
I think others who visit this breakfast restaurant near Jeju Airport will feel similarly.
