Discovering Classic Haerye Coffee in Seongsu

When you visit Seongsu, exploring cafes and pop-ups is a lot of fun.
This time, while searching for a cafe to visit with my friends,
I discovered Haerye Coffee, famous for its delicious Ddukbbokki.
I had to go right away! Haha!
Classic Haerye Coffee
Located at 28-20 Yeonmujang-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
Open daily from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM
This place is just a short walk from Dior Seongsu.
Seongsu has a lot to see, and as you stroll around, you'll find interesting spots.
The red brick exterior is so charming!
I wanted to visit this cafe because I really enjoyed watching Heart Signal 4.
My favorite show featured Han Kyore, who runs this cafe!
So, I felt like I had to check it out!
The exterior is beautiful even before entering.
It gives off a foreign vibe and looks stunning.
If you take photos at the tables here, they turn out great!
I could take over 20 photos here! Haha!
The interior is warm and cozy with plenty of plants,
and the wooden tones make it very inviting.
The soft lighting creates a lovely atmosphere.
Be sure to arrive early, as there can be a wait.
We were lucky to get in right away!
The cafe is surprisingly spacious!
It accommodates many groups of guests.
Here, you might even spot Han Kyore and Kim Jeong-soo from Solo Hell 4.
They run this cafe together, so you might get a chance to meet them!
Let’s place our orders.
The drip coffee is delicious, and I ordered the recommended Haerye Latte.
Han Kyore has a barista award, so you know the coffee is serious!
The cafe roasts its own beans, ensuring rich flavors.
Now, let’s pick some desserts!
The pastries are made by a head pastry chef from Le Cordon Bleu,
so everything tastes amazing.
I highly recommend the Churonut and the chewy bread!
You must try them, they are truly delicious.
You can also find the famous Ddukbbokki here.
With so many tempting options, it's hard to choose!
I couldn't resist trying the Ddukbbokki made with 100% premium pistachios.
I asked them to warm it up a bit in the microwave for extra flavor.
The excitement was real!
Besides Ddukbbokki, they also have Dubai Strawberry Chocolate Cake.
The desserts here are generously topped with strawberries.
I was thrilled to try everything!
After ordering, we settled down to wait for our coffee.
The anticipation for delicious desserts and coffee made my heart race.
It’s a great place to enjoy alone as well.
With many solo seating options, I plan to come back and enjoy Seongsu at my own pace.
Everyone seems relaxed here, perfect for reading or taking a break.
Han Kyore is quite famous in the coffee scene!
I ordered an Americano while my friend got drip coffee.
The drip coffee is made with single-origin beans roasted in-house.
The aroma was delightful!
My Americano was extracted using a manual lever machine,
allowing me to truly appreciate its rich flavor.
This cafe has won the Blue Ribbon for four consecutive years,
making it a trusted spot for coffee lovers!
Finally, I got to enjoy the Ddukbbokki!
Look at how thin the crust is!
It's incredibly tasty, crispy, and chewy.
Eating Ddukbbokki in such a lovely atmosphere made me so happy!
The Raspberry Cream Donut was refreshing!
The raspberries were so delicious, bursting with flavor.
Every bite was a delightful experience!
I also tried the Matcha Chewy Bread,
which was a perfect blend of flavors.
Classic Haerye Coffee is truly a must-visit cafe in Seongsu!
I can't wait to come back!
Next time, I hope to meet Han Kyore in person!
