Discovering a Hidden Gem in Mangwon

There's a new bar with a great atmosphere in Mangwon!
We are starting our journey to explore the hot spots in Mangwon!

????♀️ About a 7-minute walk from Mangwon Station Exit 2
It's tucked away in an alley, giving it a vibe that feels like only the locals know about it.
It was easy to find, as it's very close to Portrait Coffee Bar!
The interior was surprisingly spacious!
They have seating for four, two, bar tables, and even group seating!
This place seems perfect for gatherings, dates, or meeting friends.
The menu was incredibly diverse!
We ordered:
Sea Urchin Oil Noodles from the mill - 20,000 KRW
Beef Sashimi and Konowada/Protein 30g - 29,000 KRW
Heineken Draft Beer - 9,900 KRW
Saika Ume Highball - 9,500 KRW
As soon as we arrived, we were served a welcome drink - Umeshu Highball appeared!
Then, the draft beer followed!
Shortly after, our food arrived:
The Sea Urchin Oil Noodles had a rich sesame oil base, perfectly complemented by seaweed and perilla leaves, creating a delightful umami flavor!
Don't forget to mix in the sea urchin!
The Beef Sashimi was delicious, but the Konowada was the real star...
It's perfect to enjoy alongside the sashimi.
And we were generously served some fresh Amberjack!
The Amberjack itself was tasty, and when paired with the seaweed, the texture combination was fantastic.
It was so fresh that I thought I should try some seafood next time :)
This place seems destined to become a hot spot in Mangwon.
It would be great for a second stop after dinner or as a date spot!
With its low lighting and cozy atmosphere, it's perfect for focusing on conversation.
For those looking for a conversation-centric space rather than a noisy bar, I highly recommend this place!
