Delicious and Convenient Solo Dining at Ryu Chang Hee Noodles near Children's Grand Park

Hello!
Last week, while looking for a quiet place for lunch in Gwangjin-gu, Guro-dong, I visited Ryu Chang Hee Noodles near Konkuk University.
I was in the area for some errands and searched for lunch options near Children's Grand Park. The reviews and ratings were so positive that I decided to give it a try.
Let me start with the conclusion: it was a really great place for solo dining, and I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy noodles!
I visited on a weekday afternoon for a light lunch.
The seating arrangement for solo diners was excellent, so I will definitely come back here when I want to eat alone.
The location is conveniently situated between Konkuk University Station and Children's Grand Park Station, making it easily accessible.
Plus, they offer free parking, which is a real bonus for those driving (there's a dedicated parking area in front of the restaurant).
I ordered the soy milk noodle soup (Kongguksu) that day.
My friend ordered Sujebi (hand-pulled dough soup). The broth was rich yet clean, with a pleasant anchovy flavor that wasn't overpowering. She finished every last drop!
There were bits of dried pollack in the soup, which added a delicious nutty flavor. You could really taste the effort that went into making the broth.
My Kongguksu was incredibly rich and savory, unlike any noodle dish I've had before.
The noodles seemed to be made in-house, and I wonder how the owner manages everything alone! The noodles were perfectly chewy and springy, complementing the broth perfectly.
The kimchi served as a side dish was nicely fermented and refreshing, making it the perfect accompaniment to the noodles.
Ryu Chang Hee Noodles' signature dishes include anchovy noodle soup (멸치국수), knife-cut noodle soup (칼국수), and the handmade soy milk noodle soup (수제콩국수) is popular in summer.
If you like savory and rich soy milk, I recommend you to try Kongguksu!
Besides that, they also offer spicy bibim noodles with young radish (열무비빔국수), barley rice (보리밥), *Eunibuseot* dried pollack soup rice (은이버섯황태국밥), and even handmade burgers.
With such a diverse menu, you'll have plenty of options to choose from, even if you visit multiple times.
What's great is that there were quite a few people dining alone.
The atmosphere is solo-diner-friendly, so you won't feel awkward, and the restaurant is clean and tidy, making it a great place for a quiet lunch.
The food also comes out quickly, which is perfect for a busy lunchtime.
I sincerely recommend this place to anyone looking for lunch near Children's Grand Park or in Guro-dong.
Especially if you enjoy noodles and clean, comforting noodle soups, this place is for you!
The weather is great these days, making it the perfect time for a meal near Children's Grand Park!
