Chuncheon 맛집 (Delicious Restaurant)

Dao Vietnamese Rice Noodles

Recommended Vietnamese Rice Noodle Restaurant in Chuncheon

Hello, I'm Chobabi!

Today, I'm introducing a Vietnamese rice noodle 맛집 (delicious restaurant) located in Nakwon-dong, Chuncheon: 'Dao Vietnamese Rice Noodles'!

This place is a Vietnamese cuisine specialty restaurant where you can experience the authentic atmosphere and flavors of Vietnam.

You can enjoy generous portions of rich and flavorful rice noodles, along with other Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls (Gỏi cuốn) and fried spring rolls (Chả giò).

Let me introduce you to 'Dao Vietnamese Rice Noodles,' run by a local Vietnamese person.

Restaurant Information

Address: 7, Jungang-ro 68beon-gil, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do

Hours: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Closed every Monday

On a drizzly day, I visited 'Dao Vietnamese Rice Noodles' because I was craving a bowl of hot rice noodle soup.

It's located in Myeongdong, Chuncheon. If you come into the alley towards Grand Clinic from the Chuncheon Myeongdong National Bank, you can easily find it.

Parking is limited, so it's recommended to use paid parking lots or nearby streets.

Atmosphere

The interior was more spacious than I expected.

There were many tables, making it suitable for group visits!

There's also a seating area where you can sit on the floor.

Menu

Now, let's take a look at the menu of Dao Vietnamese Rice Noodles.

The signature dish here is, of course, rice noodles!

My husband and I both ordered the basic rice noodles and decided to have spring rolls and fried spring rolls as sides.

I also wanted to try Banh Xeo, but I was worried it would be too much food, so I'll save it for next time.

Delicious Spring Rolls and Fried Spring Rolls

After ordering, the spring rolls, fried spring rolls, and side dishes were quickly served!

The side dishes included kimchi, pickled onions, and pickled radish.

Additional side dishes are self-service!

First, I'll introduce the 'Spring Rolls.' They are priced at ₩7,000 and come with a total of 4 rolls.

The rolls were quite plump, and you could feel that they were filled with generous ingredients.

I like to dip spring rolls in chili sauce, so I dipped them in the red chili sauce and enjoyed!

It was packed with vegetables and shrimp, making the texture rich and delicious!

The crispness of the vegetables was excellent!!!

It would be great as a diet meal, and it felt like a clean and filling meal.

Next is the 'Fried Spring Rolls.' They are priced at ₩5,000, and you get a total of 4, but one was a service!

You can feel the crispiness just by looking at them, right?

Since the rice paper is fried, it felt like it would be incredibly savory!

I dipped the fried spring rolls in fish sauce and enjoyed!

The outside was very crispy, and the inside was soft.

It was filled with meat and vegetables, making the savory and sweet taste fantastic!

The combination with the fish sauce was also perfect!

Generous Rice Noodles

Next is the main dish, 'Rice Noodles.'

The price is ₩10,000, and it was served hot, which was perfect for the rainy weather.

First, I stirred it quickly to taste the soup!

And then, I took a bite...

The soup was clean and full of umami, making it the best!

Isn't this the kind of soup you can only taste when you go to Vietnam? ㅜㅜㅜ

It was exactly the taste I was expecting!!

I wanted to put the soup in a tumbler and take it with me haha

The noodles were thin and flat rice noodles, and the portion was generous.

There was so much meat in it. The meat made the broth taste richer.

The savory taste was the best!!!

And I love and eat a lot of crunchy bean sprouts when I eat rice noodles.

The amount is enormous...

I love it

I can give up the noodles, but I can't give up the bean sprouts.

Now, according to your preference,

Add a little lemon and

I'll add a lot of cilantro and eat it.

Various sauces are also provided additionally, so please enjoy them according to your personal taste.

I added a little Vietnamese chili and enjoyed it spicy, and it was delicious

If you like spicy food,

Be sure to add Vietnamese chili~!!!

Now, let's eat

When I added a lot of cilantro,

The deeper and cleaner taste was amazing.

Rice noodles full of Vietnamese local scent

The soup was clean and the texture of the noodles was so good that I finished the bowl ㅠㅠㅠ

Final Review

I felt the scent of Vietnam with generous rice noodles

'Dao Vietnamese Rice Noodles'

You don't have to go to Vietnam

You can feel the local taste and atmosphere.

If you like rice noodles with lots of cilantro

Run right away~!!!

I highly recommend it as a Chuncheon rice noodle 맛집 (delicious restaurant).

That's it

End.
